Jinbe

Jinbe, known as the "Knight of the Sea," holds the role of helmsman within the Straw Hat Pirates and ranks as one of the Senior Officers in the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He stands as the crew's tenth member, joining during the events of the Wano Country Arc. Jinbe, a formidable whale shark fish-man, possesses exceptional mastery of Fish-Man Karate. His lifelong dream revolves around fulfilling his late captain Fisher Tiger's wish for harmony and equality between humans and fish-men. He commenced his journey as a member of the Sun Pirates and ultimately rose to the position of their second captain following the demise of their original leader, Tiger. Jinbe later ascended to become one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, a position from which he resigned during the tumultuous Summit War of Marineford. To replace him, Vegapunk created a clone of Jinbe, the Seraphim S-Shark.

During the turbulent times preceding and during the war, Jinbe formed a profound friendship with Monkey D. Luffy. Two years later, he allied himself with Luffy and his crew to thwart the New Fish-Man Pirates' coup d'état against the Neptune Royal Family of the Ryugu Kingdom. Luffy extended an invitation for Jinbe to join the Straw Hat Pirates, which Jinbe initially delayed until he cut ties with Big Mom during the Whole Cake Island Arc. After choosing to stay behind in Totto Land to safeguard the Sun Pirates from Big Mom's vengeance, Jinbe officially rejoined the Straw Hats during the Wano Country Arc. Jinbe's initial bounty of 76,000,000 Beli arose due to his association with the Sun Pirates, rising to 250,000,000 Beli when he assumed leadership of the crew before being frozen following his Seven Warlords induction. Upon relinquishing his Warlord title at the Summit War of Marineford, his bounty was reinstated at 438,000,000 Beli. Following the Raid on Onigashima, his bounty surged to 1,100,000,000 Beli.

As the former captain of the Sun Pirates, a former member of the Seven Warlords, and the Straw Hat Pirates' helmsman, Jinbe commands great authority and garners deep respect from his former subordinates. Among the crew's top fighters, alongside Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, Jinbe stands out for fighting without weapons or Devil Fruit abilities. His childhood experiences in the lawless Fish-Man District honed his combat skills, making him an elite soldier of the Neptune Army. Jinbe possesses indomitable willpower, rendering him immune to Big Mom's life-draining abilities and resilient against Haoshoku Haki. A highly disciplined master of Fish-Man Karate and Fish-Man Jujutsu, Jinbe boasts extensive combat experience. His techniques allow him to strike multiple opponents simultaneously and grapple with adversaries far larger than himself. His childhood mastery of the martial art, evident by his early black belt achievement, has evolved to the point where his strikes can affect foes without physical contact, as water particles in the air carry the impact. Notably, Jinbe dispatched Minorhinoceros, an Awakened Zoan Devil Fruit user among the four Jailer Beasts, with a single uppercut. He effortlessly sent Gecko Moria and Charlotte Opera flying with powerful punches, highlighting his might.

Jinbe's mastery of Fish-Man Karate extends to manipulating water and other liquids as if they were tangible, allowing him to launch long-distance attacks. He can utilize this technique to inflict considerable damage to both individuals and ships, such as flooding all of Onigashima with water provided by Raizo. Moreover, he can grapple and throw opponents by utilizing their size and weight against them, a skill that has proven effective against formidable foes like Big Mom and Who's-Who. Jinbe excels as a helmsman, adeptly steering ships with precision. His extensive knowledge of sea currents enhances his proficiency in this role, allowing him to navigate skillfully even in the face of danger.
