BLUE LOCK has unveiled an exciting new visual for its upcoming 4th stage play, along with character visuals for all 22 cast members. The play is set to take the stage in May 2025, with performances scheduled in two major cities: Osaka and Tokyo.
Performance Details
The 4th stage play will be held at THEATER MILANO-Za in Tokyo from May 15 to May 25, followed by shows at the Higashi-Osaka Cultural Creation Hall Dream House Great Hall in Osaka from May 30 to June 1. This latest installment follows the conclusion of the U-20 Japan match, which was recently depicted in the anime adaptation.

Previous Stage Plays and Background
The first BLUE LOCK stage play debuted in May 2023 in Osaka and Tokyo, followed by the second in January 2024 in Kyoto and Tokyo, and the third, which recently concluded in Tokyo after performances in Osaka in August.
BLUE LOCK is a popular Japanese manga created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The first season of the anime, produced by Studio 8bit, premiered in October 2022 and consisted of 24 episodes. Following the Nagi movie released in April, the second season of the anime premiered on October 5 and ran until December 28.
Kodansha has licensed the manga in English, and Crunchyroll streams the anime. The story revolves around Japan's quest for World Cup glory, leading the Japanese Football Association to initiate a rigorous training program to discover the next national team striker. Three hundred high school players compete for this coveted position, but only one can emerge victorious. Who will be the one to usher in a new era of Japanese soccer?
