Attack on Titan season 4, Part 3 Updates

The endgame for Eren is almost here as Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3, also known as the Final Arc 1st Half or Attack on Titan season 4, Part 3, is set to premiere this week with a special one-hour episode. If you're wondering when and where you can watch it in the US and UK, read on for the answers. Episode 88 of Attack on Titan will be available in the West on March 3 (March 4 in Japan) just after 7:25 AM Pacific/10:25 AM Eastern, and at around 3:25 PM GMT in the UK. You can catch it on Crunchyroll with subtitles, while an English dub will likely follow later. It's unclear how many episodes are left, but it seems that there are only two more to go: the one-hour special on March 3 and the second half of the Final Arc, which will be released later in 2023. We'll keep you updated as we hear more.

In the upcoming episodes, fans will witness the sacrifice of Hange Zoe as she selflessly offers herself to allow her friends to escape and confront Eren. The phrase "Dedicate your heart" spoken by Levi to Hange echoes Commander Erwin's iconic line, representing the Survey Corps' ultimate dedication and selflessness. It will be heartbreaking to watch Hange follow in Erwin's footsteps and devastating to see Levi as the sole surviving member of their trio.

The return of Zeke is foreshadowed by the Beast Titan's grinning face. Manga readers know that Zeke comes back as a human connected to Eren's colossal form, and his fate as a complex antagonist is sealed.

Levi's thirst for revenge against Zeke has been building up ever since the latter caused him severe injuries, including a bandaged face and missing fingers. A preview image suggests that Zeke's end is near, as a determined Levi stares unwaveringly at his weapon. Both anime viewers and manga readers are eagerly anticipating the ultimate showdown between the two in this long-awaited scene.

An image leak from Attack on Titan called "Eren's Omniscient Flashback" provides a glimpse into Eren's mental state during the Rumbling. The image depicts Eren as a lonely leader of the Titans, plagued by guilt and comparing himself to Reiner. He reflects on his early days in Marley, giving fans a hint about his emotional state.

Meanwhile, Armin comes to understand Eren's true plan before the fate of the protagonist is determined. Eren confides in his best and oldest friend, revealing that he manipulated his friends' memories and actions to achieve his desired outcome, portraying himself as a god. However, Eren's goal is not to destroy humanity, but rather to eliminate the Titans and establish Eldians as heroes who accomplished this feat.

In the anime, Mikasa plays a crucial role in the storyline, ultimately taking Eren's life after sharing a final kiss with him. Despite this, Eren bears no resentment towards Mikasa, stating that it was her destiny to slay him and free Ymir.

The final scene of the anime is bound to be unforgettable. Attack on Titan preview images hint at a final embrace between Eren and Mikasa, with Mikasa resting her head on Eren's shoulder. Fans can anticipate an emotional and satisfying conclusion to the story that has captured their hearts for years. With many foreshadowed twists and plot points, the final season promises to deliver an epic conclusion to the beloved series.
