Adding to the love for the game, Sony and Insomniac Games have announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will receive an update next year. According to the release, the PlayStation 5 exclusive is set to get a free update incorporating highly requested features.
The announcement mentions that the substantial update is still undergoing "more testing" to ensure it meets quality standards. Insomniac Games highlighted that a variety of features are on the way, and although there's no confirmation yet, a comprehensive list of additions will be revealed closer to the update's release. Among the expected additions, in addition to the "New Game+" feature, are options like the ability to change the time of day, replay specific missions, and customize visuals with various suits and forms. Insomniac expressed their excitement, stating, "We can’t wait to share more with you in the future. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience as our team works to finish our next update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!"
