One Piece chapter 1124 could potentially see the journey to Elbaf continue. The Straw Hat Pirates have successfully left Egghead. In the previous chapter, Luffy said his thank you to Emet, the Iron Giant, and it was essentially confirmed that Joy Boy's Haki had saved them all. The Haki was so strong that even the Vice Admirals could not maintain their senses in front of him and simply collapsed. Meanwhile, the Straw Hats and the Giants took full advantage of this situation and sailed away.

Fans did not get to see more of Saturn or any other Elders, which essentially means that the threat is dealt with, and things are going to move towards the next arc now. One Piece chapter 1124 is going to see this journey continue. In the previous chapter, the Straw Hat Pirates were seen partying with the Giants. Fans could perhaps see this party continue in One Piece chapter 1124. This could be the perfect opportunity for Oda to introduce fans to lore related to Elbaf while the ships sail towards the island.

These would correspond to chapters 1125, 1126, and 1127 respectively. More likely than not, these chapters will serve as the conclusion to the Egghead arc, if it’s not officially concluded in chapter 1124 before Oda takes his next break.

This also falls in line with previous estimations from Oda that the Elbaf arc, which the series has already all but confirmed as the next arc, would begin by the end of 2024. While Oda obviously seems to be a bit early on this estimate as it stands, it’s entirely possible that he was either expecting to need more time to end Egghead or scrapped planned ideas at the time. In any case, it’s clear that the Elbaf arc will soon be starting in the manga.
