Loki

Loki is a prince of Elbaph, the son of King Harald and the younger half-brother of Hajrudin. Known as the "Accursed Prince" and the "Shame of Elbaph," he is currently imprisoned after murdering his father to obtain an unspecified Devil Fruit. Loki refers to himself as the Sun God, a deity worshipped by the people of Elbaph, and claims he will be the one to "end the world."

Originally, Loki was arranged to marry Charlotte Lola, which would have forged an alliance between Elbaph and the Big Mom Pirates, but Lola ultimately fled. The residents of Elbaph view Loki as a wicked and dangerous individual, infamous for his heinous acts, most notably the murder of his father to satisfy his desperate desire for a Devil Fruit. Even as a child, he reveled in causing chaos and destruction among the people of Elbaph for his own amusement. Overall, Loki is violent, insane, and destructive, intent on bringing about the end of the world.

 

Despite his often jovial demeanor and constant smile, Loki is also impatient and easily irritated. He is a deceptive manipulator, known for making dubious deals and provoking others for amusement, often dismissing their reactions as jokes. His arrogance is palpable, as he proclaims himself the strongest being in Elbaph and does not tolerate anyone speaking in his presence without permission.

As a proud giant, Loki typically shows little respect for humans, often insulting even those who follow him and struggling to remember their names, akin to how Luffy sometimes forgets others. However, he has a unique bond with animals, having befriended the wild beasts of Elbaph in his youth and using them to intimidate others. Loki harbors a deep disdain for World Nobles, preferring to remain chained than to join their ranks. Even when tortured by Gunko, he refused to submit, channeling his rage into a desire for destruction.

His friend Mosa has noted that Loki possesses a softer, more compassionate side, but Loki vehemently rejects any portrayal of himself as kind, becoming furious when Mosa suggests such a notion. He is immensely powerful, even among giants, requiring all of Elbaph's finest warriors to keep him in check while imprisoned. His size is comparable to that of Oars, placing him among the Ancient Giants. Many giants believe that if freed, Loki could unleash enough power to destroy the world.

During his confrontation with his father, King Harald, Loki killed over a hundred giant warriors, some of whom shared Ancient Giant blood, along with his father, who was also considered a formidable warrior. In recognition of his capabilities, the World Government has placed a special bounty of 2,600,000,000 Beli on Loki, the reasons for which remain unclear. This "special" status has led to offers for him to join the prestigious God's Knights.

As the prince of Elbaph, Loki once held significant authority and influence over the warriors and citizens of the kingdom, reputed to be the strongest in the world. This included the privilege of proposing to the 23rd daughter of Big Mom, which could have ended the giants' resentment toward her had the marriage succeeded. Conversely, any slight against Loki incited hatred from the giants, as seen in Big Mom's failed attempts to manipulate him.

After being sentenced as a criminal, Loki no longer enjoys royal privileges. However, he still commands influence over a small group of loyal humans and several wild beasts he befriended in childhood, enabling him to threaten those who enter Elbaph's Underworld.

Loki demonstrates remarkable willpower, refusing to comply with the God's Knights despite enduring torture. His endurance is exceptional, having been chained in seastone for nearly six years without succumbing to the freezing conditions of Elbaph's Underworld, and he even managed to attempt an escape. Despite repeated beatings from Gunko, he withstood the attacks, and even after being stabbed through the chest by massive swords, he was able to stand and prepare for combat once freed from his chains.

Loki possesses impressive reaction speed, capable of dodging a Gear 4 strike at point-blank range while bound and blindfolded. His strength is monstrous even by giant standards, having single-handedly killed his father and over a hundred giant warriors. At the age of ten, he was able to defeat numerous beasts in Elbaph's Underworld and command the rest to do his bidding. Loki has consumed an unnamed Devil Fruit, believed to be legendary, which he coveted so intensely that he murdered his father to obtain it.

Loki has the ability to use Observation Haki, allowing him to sense Monkey D. Luffy while blindfolded and accurately predict Gunko's attacks. His primary weapon is a large warhammer named Ragnir. After sensing a powerful presence within Elbaph's mountains while Luffy and his crew escaped the Land of Gods, he went to investigate, only to find himself chained.

Following a tumultuous first encounter with Luffy, Loki attempted to negotiate for his freedom by offering to destroy any rival pirate crew. He used his human followers and giant beasts to coerce Luffy into compliance, but Luffy managed to tame the beasts. When Loki insulted Shanks, he caught Luffy's attention, leading to a new deal in which Loki would share information about Shanks in exchange for his freedom.

Later, during a conversation with Mosa via Den Den Mushi, Loki's calm demeanor shifted when Mosa pointed out his kindness, prompting a furious reaction from Loki. Not long after, he was confronted by two God's Knights who offered him a position among their ranks, to which Loki responded with laughter. Gunko, annoyed by his refusal, attempted to use one of Loki's pets as leverage. Even under torture, Loki remained defiant, insisting he would never join them. Eventually, after being beaten unconscious, Shamrock deemed him no longer worth the trouble and opted for another strategy.

Before they could leave, Loki managed to regain his composure and demanded to know why Shamrock resembled Shanks. Surprised to learn that Shamrock was Shanks' twin brother, Loki issued a threat regarding revenge for the giant animals Gunko had killed, prompting Shamrock's outrage. In response, Shamrock revealed his sword, which had absorbed a Devil Fruit, horrifying Loki as he was forced to remain chained while facing the creature. As the three-headed Cerberus attacked him, Loki cursed Shamrock's name.

Later, after enduring various challenges to recover his key, Luffy and Zoro returned to the Underworld of Elbaph, discovering Loki in a severely wounded state. Their argument over Loki's condition led Zoro to attack him to verify his injuries, causing Loki to pass out. Despite this, Zoro remained cautious and decided to release all but one of Loki's shackles. Just as Luffy was sent to find a doctor, the New Giant Warrior Pirates fell from the sky, warning of Loki's deceitful nature. However, it was too late, as Zoro had already undone most of the shackles. To everyone's shock, Loki rose to his feet, armed with his hammer.
