Hajrudin is a giant warrior recognized as part of the "new generation" of Elbaph. He is the illegitimate son of the late King Harald and the older half-brother of Prince Loki.
A century after the disbandment of the Giant Warrior Pirates, Hajrudin established the New Giant Warrior Pirates in an effort to revive the legendary crew. They previously served as S-class pirate mercenaries for Buggy's Pirate Dispatch Organization. Hajrudin participated in the Corrida Colosseum on Dressrosa, where he teamed up with Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates to overthrow Donquixote Doflamingo's regime. Following this victory, Hajrudin pledged his crew's loyalty to Luffy and became the captain of the sixth ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
As a significant ally during the Dressrosa Arc, Hajrudin is also a central character in "The Stories of the Self-Proclaimed Straw Hat Grand Fleet" cover page serial. As the captain of the New Giant Warrior Pirates, he holds complete authority over his crew.
Hajrudin's strength is well-known, having previously been an S-Class member of Buggy's Pirate Dispatch Organization, indicating that Buggy recognized him as one of the organization's top members. Gatz has referred to him as the strongest mercenary pirate. He demonstrated his prowess by facing Machvise, an officer of the Donquixote Pirates, and ultimately defeating him after a tough battle. As a giant from Elbaph, Hajrudin possesses incredible physical strength.
His punches have been described as "bolts of thunder," allowing him to overpower several powerful gladiators and crush Ucy. Hajrudin has immense pain tolerance, enduring tremendous physical strain that nearly cost him an arm and withstanding the brutal force of Machvise's Jigoku no Manton Vise, even managing to counterattack and send Machvise flying into Doflamingo's Torikage, incapacitating him in the process.
Hajrudin wears giant gauntlets that he uses to hammer down on his enemies. He also wields a massive spiked club with great proficiency, effortlessly swatting aside a group of bounty hunters. In his youth, he wielded a large broadsword, but upon becoming captain of the New Giant Warrior Pirates, he was seen with a massive broadaxe. His uppercut technique is particularly powerful, capable of launching opponents great distances. He first used this technique to defeat Machvise's Jigoku no Manton Vise, cracking his shield and sending the Super-Weight Human flying, although the effort shattered the bones in his right arm and leg.
Hajrudin was planning to travel to Egghead to support the Straw Hat Pirates during the Egghead Incident but was forced to remain in Elbaph due to complications involving Loki. Upon learning of the Straw Hats' impending arrival at Elbaph, Hajrudin and Stansen ventured into Elbaph's Underworld to hunt a giant moose to serve as a meal for the Straw Hats. Since their Painter was nonfunctional due to the snow, they had to carry the moose's body over their heads.
While returning to the Sun World, Hajrudin and Stansen encountered the original Giant Warrior Pirates and a few members of the Straw Hats. Excited to meet Luffy, they mentioned the moose they had hunted for him and his crew. Shortly after, they arrived back at the Western Village, where they successfully reunited with Luffy and the rest of the crew. Hajrudin congratulated Luffy on his new status as one of the Four Emperors and his victory over Big Mom, proudly offering the services of himself and his crew to the Straw Hat captain. Although he expected the Straw Hats to stay, Hajrudin was understanding of their need to meet with Jaguar D. Saul and promised a feast upon their return.
