The Magnificent KOTOBUKI: Teaser, Cast And Other Details Out

On friday, The official website for the Kōya no Kotobuki Hikōtai (The Magnificent KOTOBUKI) anime project revealed a promotional video and a visual poster for it. Along with that, it also revealed a compilation film for the September 11 opening of the Kōya no Kotobuki Hikōtai Kanzenban (The Magnificent KOTOBUKI Complete Edition).

The screening of the film will be including MX4D screenings.

Also, the best part is, the cast and staff from the television anime are coming back for the film.

When was The Magnificent KOTOBUKI originally premiered?

The original TV anime was premiered on January 2019 and had 12 episodes. The director of the anime is Tsutomu Mizushima, and it’s scriptwriter is Michiko Yokote. Also, the anime was licensed by Sentai Filmworks. And, HIDIVE and Crunchyroll are streaming the series as it was airing.
The Sentai Filmworks released the anime on Blu-ray Disc on February 4. Also, it describes the anime as:

It is about a desolate world where the safest form of transporting cargo is by air pirates roaming in the sky, preying on aerial commerce and holding remote towns for ransom. The only defence against these airborne marauders, is to hire high-flying protection of your own. Now, this is where the mercenary pilots like the girls of the Kotobuki Squadron come in.

Behind their lightweight Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa fighters, these lady falcons play a deadly game of escort. Here, a single mistake can end up in a fiery crash or mid-air collision. But for birds of prey like Kylie, Chika, Reona, Kate, Emma, and Zara, the danger is worth it as they get the chance to spread their wings and soar into the heavens.

The wild blue yonder gets even wilder as every dogfight becomes a catfight in THE MAGNIFICENT KOTOBUKI!

Another highlight to this franchise is that a smartphone game with the name Kōya no Kotobuki Hikōtai – Ōzora no Take Off Girls! (The Magnificent KOTOBUKI: Take Off Girls of the Sky!) was out in February 2019. Also, author Muneaki Taoka and artist Tsubasa Sugie launched a manga adaptation in April 2019 which was ended in March 25. A sequel novel to the anime shipped in June 2019.
