Although LeBron had previously been spotted wearing these kicks, they have now been officially unveiled in a stunning "Akoya" colorway, adding to the excitement surrounding the Nike Basketball division's holiday footwear showcase, which also includes the debut of Devin Booker's first signature shoe with Nike.


 

The LeBron 21 represents an evolution from its predecessor, the LeBron 20, building upon the low-cut profile with the use of premium lightweight materials inspired by the resilience of oyster shells. Drawing inspiration from his 8-year-old daughter Zhuri, the shoe prioritizes foot containment during explosive movements, much like safeguarding the precious pearl within the oyster. The upper features lightweight mono-mesh reinforced by zonal cables around the midfoot, ensuring breathability with perforations at the medial Swoosh.

To enhance performance, a Zoom Turbo unit resides in the forefoot, complemented by full-length Cushlon 2.0 foam in the midsole and a TPU midfoot shank for stability. Additional nods to oyster shells are visible through the exposed foxing construction and a quilted, perforated tongue. Mark your calendars for the retail debut of the Nike LeBron 21 in the captivating "Akoya" colorway, set to hit stores on September 28.
