Nike Sabrina 2 Official Release

Nike has unveiled the key technology behind WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu’s second signature shoe, the Nike Sabrina 2. Designed with a focus on quickness, the Nike Sabrina 2 is 28 grams lighter than its predecessor. It features a plush CushIon 3.0 foam midsole—the first of its kind in a Nike basketball shoe—encased in a durable CushIon foam carrier. The forefoot includes a Nike Zoom Air unit for maximum energy return and responsiveness, while a new band system around the midfoot ensures a secure fit. The rubber outsole showcases a new “S”-inspired herringbone pattern.


 

The upper's “S” frame incorporates embroidered patterns that celebrate Sabrina’s initials and number. The Swoosh on the medial side is designed to resemble shattered glass, symbolizing the barriers Sabrina continues to break.

In addition to the shoe, the Nike x Sabrina Ionescu collaboration features a complete apparel collection. This includes a reversible bomber jacket, a hoodie, two T-shirts, and shorts, along with a kids’ collection that offers a hoodie and shorts. More details about the clothing line will be available soon.

The Nike Sabrina 2 signature collection is set to launch on June 28 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $130 USD.

After being teased earlier this week, we now have the first official look at the Nike Sabrina 2. Debuting in a “Cave Purple” colorway, the shoe features black and purple tones, with iridescent detailing on the Swooshes and the “S” logo on the tongue. The shoe comes in a thematic box, and while Nike has yet to reveal all the tech details, it prominently features an Air Zoom unit in the sole. Stay tuned for more updates as this new sneaker is expected to release on June 28 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $130 USD.

Ionescu, who launched her first signature shoe, the Nike Sabrina 1, last July, is now ready to introduce the Nike Sabrina 2.


 

Ahead of the new season, a first look at the Sabrina 2 has surfaced. Inspired by the Nike Kobe 5, the design features a sleek, low-cut build. The initial colorway is purple and black, with an overlay stretching from the forefoot of the midsole to the collar and a layer of mesh beneath. Ionescu’s “S” logo is on the tongue, and the segmented sole unit adds to the shoe's aesthetic.

As of now, neither Sabrina Ionescu nor Nike Basketball have provided release details for the Nike Sabrina 2. Stay tuned for updates and a closer look at the design, which is expected to be available this summer via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for around $130 USD.
