Ripley is a giant hailing from Elbaf and the mother of Colon. A warrior at heart, she also serves as a biology teacher at the Walrus School. With a slender figure, Ripley stands out due to a striking tattoo that runs the length of her left side, from her temple down to her foot. Her long, light hair is styled in braids at the front, with bangs that partially obscure the right side of her face.
Her attire consists of a dark tank top featuring a horned Jolly Roger design, complemented by a fur cape, a short skirt secured with leather belts, and fuzzy boots wrapped in bands. Ripley has a laid-back demeanor, often disregarding conventional manners and using coarse language, despite her tendency to reprimand her students for similar behavior. She is a devoted follower of the late King Harald’s teachings, which emphasize peace and trade over war and conquest.
Like many giants, Ripley has a keen interest in Nika. Her giant heritage grants her immense physical strength, and she is also a skilled fighter, representing the latest generation of warriors from Elbaf.
As a biology teacher, Ripley possesses a solid understanding of her subject, which enables her to effectively educate her students. She was present at the Walrus School when the Straw Hat Pirates encountered Saul. During a playful chase initiated by the schoolchildren, the Straw Hats found themselves atop Ripley, who lamented that the warrior way was fading in Elbaf due to King Harald’s advocacy for fair trade. She inquired about Luffy's Nika transformation but was left puzzled by his response that it was simply his "appearance when free."
When her son Colon arrived at the Walrus School and launched an attack on Luffy, Ripley scolded him but also praised his sword technique. After Colon mentioned that his father is human, Ripley took the opportunity to clarify their family dynamics to the Straw Hats.
