One Piece Episode 1077 Review And One Piece Episode 1078 Preview

One Piece episode 1077, titled The Curtain Falls! The Winner, Straw Hat Luffy! In this episode, Luffy's triumph over the formidable Emperor of the Sea, Kaido, is confirmed. The two had engaged in a fierce battle in the previous episode, where Luffy's newfound powers proved superior. After a series of intense action sequences, this episode brings a sense of tranquility, signifying the end of Kaido and Orochi's oppressive reign over Wano. It's now time for the people to rejoice and adapt to a new era in Wano.

One Piece episode 1077 commences with Kaido's body crashing through the earth's crust and into the magma below. Yamato arrives just in time to catch Luffy, preventing him from suffering a similar fate. Subsequently, the samurai, Zou inhabitants, and all the Straw Hat allies begin their celebrations. They not only witness the fulfillment of a prophecy but also the successful defeat of two Emperors of the Sea. Amidst the festivities, Chopper faces immense stress as everyone is in need of his assistance, despite his limited manpower and medical supplies.

Fortunately, Miyagi and Tristan have scoured the castle for all available medical provisions, enabling them to begin their work. Meanwhile, in the Flower Capital, Toko informs Tenguyama Hitetsu that her father, Yasui, willingly allowed himself to be captured, knowing it would lead to his demise, which confuses her. Hitetsu explains that Yasui made this sacrifice to give the people of Wano a fighting chance.

In a flashback, it is revealed that Toko had consumed a SMILE fruit, causing her to laugh uncontrollably. Initially concerned, Yasui eventually took a bite of the same fruit to share in his daughter's condition. In One Piece episode 1077, after a brief respite, Momonosuke communicates with Zunesha and decides not to open Wano's borders, prioritizing the safety of its people. Zunesha respects this decision. The Animal Kingdom Pirates, unwilling to accept Kaido's defeat, prepare to continue the battle. However, an unexpected undersea volcanic eruption halts their plans. To reassure the frightened citizens of Wano, Momonosuke makes his appearance, initially mistaken for Kaido. He clarifies his identity, and Hiyori, Denjiro, and others emerge from the smoke caused by the eruption.

The episode concludes with a shot of Denjiro, ready to introduce Wano's new shogun.

One Piece Episode 1078 Preview

ONE PIECE episode 1078 will be released next Sunday on October 1, and the preview video shows that we will finally see Momo in his human form as an adult. Oden’s retainers are going to make their return official alongside the new shogun, and you can check out the preview video for episode 1078 with English subtitles below (the video is also available on Crunchyroll at the end of episode 1077): The preview for ONE PIECE episode 1078 reveals the title to be “He Returns! The Shogun of the Land of Wano, Kozuki Momonosuke.” We already got a look of Momo’s adult form in the ONE PIECE 25th opening, and he’s sure to make an exciting speech in the next episode.

One Piece Chapter 1051 Prediction And Theory

We see Kaido and Big Mom. Big Mom escapes the magma by turning it into a homie. Her face is scarred but we don't see it clearly. She offers to save Kaido. Kaido refuses. Cut to another a flashback scene of his. We find out why he believes "the victor needs no excuses" and "the thing about defeat is, when it comes, few accept it". 

Kaido accepts his defeat, smiles and is covered in magma. The last we see of him is his smile.
Back to Flower Capital, we see Momonosuke's face. Momonosuke addresses the people as the dust clears. The sun rises, we get a double-page spread with the nine heralds of the dawn: Momosuke, Hiyori, Denjiro, Inu, Neko, Kawamatsu, Shinobu, Raizou and Yamato. The narrator talks about this momentous change to the country. We get glimpses of the what the Straw Hats and the samurai are doing in Onigashima.
As the narrator ends his words, we get back to the capital. Hiyori is playing her shamisen, the people celebrate. The curtains close. End of Act 3.
