The company's latest Predator and Nitro machines aren't just faster they're smarter, slimmer, and packed with AI features that go way beyond just boosting frame rates.
What makes these laptops special is that they're the first to combine Intel's newest Core Ultra Series 3 processors with NVIDIA's latest GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards (based on the new Blackwell architecture). This isn't just a spec-sheet upgrade. These components work together to power Windows 11's Copilot+ features, bringing AI-assisted tools for creativity and productivity right onto your laptop no cloud connection required.
The star of the show is definitely the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI. Despite packing serious hardware we're talking up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and RTX 5070 graphics Acer managed to squeeze everything into a metal chassis that's less than 19mm thick. The 16-inch OLED screen runs at 165Hz, which means you'll actually see all those extra frames that NVIDIA's DLSS 4 technology generates. And because gaming laptops running this kind of power tend to run hot, Acer equipped it with their latest cooling setup: fifth-generation 3D fans and liquid metal thermal paste to keep temperatures in check.
Not everyone needs (or can afford) top-of-the-line specs, though, which is where the Nitro V series comes in. Acer's introducing two new models here the Nitro V 16 AI and an even thinner version called the Nitro V 16S AI that measures under 18mm. Both run on Intel Core Ultra 7 processors and tap into AI-powered features like automatic live captions and an image generation tool, making them solid options for gamers who want modern features without the flagship price tag.
Acer didn't stop at laptops, either. They're also launching the Predator Galea 570 gaming headset, which includes noise-canceling technology for clearer voice chat, and the Cestus 530 mouse. That mouse is particularly interesting for competitive gamers it has an 8,000Hz polling rate, which basically means it reports your movements to the computer 8,000 times per second for incredibly responsive cursor control.
It's clear that Acer is betting big on AI being the next major shift in gaming laptops.
