Rashid, the highly anticipated DLC character for Street Fighter 6, is set to make his grand debut on July 24th. The game's DLC plans kick off with the return of Rashid, followed by the introduction of a fresh face named A.K.I. in the fall of 2023. In winter 2024, fans can expect the return of Ed, while the iconic Akuma makes his comeback in spring 2024. Players have the option to purchase individual characters or acquire them all through a convenient season pass. Street Fighter 6 introduces the innovative Drive system, featuring a resource gauge that enables players to execute five distinct techniques. These include a super armor move, a parry, EX (enhanced) special moves, a forward-moving rush attack, and a low damage reversal. Additionally, the game offers both a classic control scheme and a "modern" control scheme designed to simplify special move inputs. Beyond the traditional fighting game modes such as local and online versus, arcade mode, and training mode, Street Fighter 6 introduces a single-player "World Tour" mode that promises engaging challenges. At Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest livestream, Capcom shared a Guile gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6. Adding to the anticipation for the latest installment of its popular fighting game series, the title is currently set to arrive sometime in 2023.

Capcom describes, “Guile’s move set in Street Fighter 6 combines his signature moves with fresh additions. He is one powerhouse of a character who retains his ability to keep opponents at a distance.”

 

 

The gameplay trailer share a new look befitting a Street Fighter veteran like Guile. The United States Air Force Major is seen with his signature blonde flat-top hairstyle with new facial hair and a denim-like flight suit. Showcasing some of the new fighting dynamics set to be introduced, Guile takes care of Ryu with his signature Sonic Boom and Flash Kick. Capcom has released a new trailer for Street Fighter 6. The new trailer, which was unveiled during the 2022 Sony State of Play event, is the first detailed look at the forthcoming game.

Coming 6 years after the previous Street Fighter installment, the forthcoming edition is set to include a real-time commentary feature, which is set to include subtitles in 13 languages.

Additionally, the game has been updated with a new Drive system with a resource gauge that allows players to utilize different techniques. Alongside this feature, the game will include a modern control scheme that makes special moves easier to process. The game also comes equipped with new fighting modes like a single-player “World Tour” and “Battle Hub” which furthers player interaction.
