Lucifer Season 5: Release Date & Everything You Need to Know

Lucifer is an American urban fantasy TV series based on DC comics characters. Tom Kapinos developed the series. This show first premiered on Jan 25, 2016 on Fox and re-released on Netflix in 2019. The story of the series is about the devil, Lucifer Morningstar. He abandons Hell for Los Angles where he runs a nightclub. Also he becomes a consultant to the LAPD. The 4 season of the series is already released. Here is everything you need to know about season 5 of ‘Lucifer’, the morning star.


There is no official affirmation about the release date of Lucifer season 5. As per the fourth season release, the upcoming one expected to release in May this year. The show is under production now. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic the production gets affected. But there is no confirmation on it. So, we hope to see the show in later 2020.


Tom Ellis played the main character Lucifer Morningstar. We will see Lauren German playing the character Chloe Decher, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Daniel Dan Espinoza.

Also,the cast includes D.B. Woodside playing the character Amenadiel Leslie, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, and Ann Brandt as Mazikeen. Also, Dennis Haysbert confirmed his character as Great Almighty. As well as Neil Gaiman will voice the character of Lucifer’s past chief.

Ann Brandt has shared that the fifth season will include physical battling including many powerful characters. Well! It seems like the upcoming season will be a power-packed one.
