If that's true, imu requires the mother flame to continue powering this body. Speaking of seraphim. A shame they didn't bring one of those bubble guns and shot imu so he would be captured.  To elaborate on the arms: something that really bugs me about imu is his hands. They don’t feel congruent with the rest of his body on several levels. For one: the transition away from the dots is strangely abrupt. The dots coat the entire torso before petering off around the upper neck, and from the fact they can be seen on his feet (ch 1180 opening page) they are probably all over his body. So why not the hands? And more importantly, why do they so abruptly stop at the hands? The same is true for the tattoo design on the hands. The line pattern just abruptly starts partway down the arm. Furthermore, we don’t see the exact transition point in the pattern due to conveniently placed armbands.

Furthermore, and maybe this is just me, the hands also seem weirdly small. Like, incongruent-with-the-arm-size small. And this is consistent too. This is why i first thought he was wearing a shirt since the arms looked weirdly poofy, but now i think it’s the other way around. The hands are small, and also too long. The elbow is too high up to be natural. And once again, the transition is covered by the armbands.

Combine this with the clunk metallic sounds, the fact that omen seems to come from the hands, this new info about his body being unable to go outside, he’s artificial somehow.
