So, one more way in which imu is an antitesis to luffy. Luffy is a god, he's a demon. Luffy is the liberator, he's the oppressor. Luffy don't want the power to rule, he's the ruler of the world. It would be a great callback because that scene is still one of the biggest mysteries in the manga. Fans have been theorizing for decades that crocodile was the one keeping the drought in alabasta using his powers, but i don't know how he could have done that exactly since he wasn't awakened. What the hell are you talking about? At the end of the arc we're shown the big ship full of dance powder which crocodile employed to maintain the drought.

I would love if it was one of the old men of weatheria who ate the fruit. It's a possibility at least with kuma traveling to weatheria since he sent nami there. Could also be that dragon ate the rain god fruit and went there to better understand his devil fruit and kuma came along. Why is imu even risking life and limb to come to elbaf? Was it just to continue the kidnapping mission, why is that so important? Was it to recruit loki?
It helps that he needs to save the knights from being killed zoro was moments away from finally taking down sommers and needs to obliterate the giants while they're still reeling because otherwise they're going to recover, ally up, and go to war against the world government. All good reasons at once.

Zaza has sharlyia's beads across her face, i don't think that's the intended effect but the first thing i thought of. Maybe killingham is also afraid of her since the sleeptid designs are influenced by the individuals imagination it seems. Also fully expecting sanji's sleeptid creatures that killingham summons to be bugs, which usopp will defeat because he's not afraid of bugs like we saw in jaya. Furthermore, and maybe this is just me, the hands also seem weirdly small. Like, incongruent-with-the-arm-size small. And this is consistent too. This is why i first thought he was wearing a shirt since the arms looked weirdly poofy, but now i think it’s the other way around. The hands are small, and also too long. The elbow is too high up to be natural. And once again, the transition is covered by the armbands.
