The last chapter of One Piece focused on the combat between Eustass Kid and Yonko, Red-Haired Shanks. The combat ended rather quickly with Shanks taking down Kid in just a single swing of his sword. With that in mind, the story could soon turn towards another member of the Worst Generation who is currently engaging Yonko Blackbeard in combat and that is none other than Trafalgar Law. Law engaged Blackbeard in combat on the ocean and this fight soon moved to a nearby island. The former started using his awakened devil fruit abilities right off the bat and injured Blackbeard quite a bit, however, as fans know already, Blackbeard has great endurance and enjoys taking lots of hits in combat.

One Piece 1080 could focus on this fight and declare Blackbeard as the winner. The pattern here is rather obvious and the next generation, who were victorious in Wano, will certainly be crushed in their respective fights. Law is most likely going to lose to Blackbeard, just as Kid lost to Shanks. The focus of the story could then shift to Egghead Island, where the war between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Navy will finally commence. The era is rapidly shifting in the world of One Piece and, for the fans, witnessing this is certainly going to be a treat.

One Piece 1080: Robin Saves Stella

One Piece 1080 could also throw some light on the biggest event on the island itself, which is the capture of Stella. In chapter 1078, York was revealed to be the traitor and she had captured Stella in an attempt to shoot herself up to the position of Celestial Dragon. While Stella will certainly not be killed by her just now, York is still a big danger to him. The group closest to York currently is that of Nico Robin, Chopper, and Atlas, and together, they are heading towards the Devil Fruit laboratory.

It is possible that Robin and Atlas, along with Chopper, will engage in combat with York in the next chapter of One Piece. Fans could see Atlas get taken down in this combat while Robin and Chopper hold their own against York. Some fans are disappointed with the twist, preferring the idea of Doflamingo being the traitor due to his Celestial Dragon DNA potentially causing a rogue Seraphim not following orders.

York's motive for being the traitor is driven by both greed and anger. It seems that she is frustrated with her position as the only Vegapunk who doesn't get to showcase her abilities and is reduced to just eating, sleeping, and taking care of bodily functions for the rest of the team. Kid, luffy, law, and koby all end up at elbaf where shanks goes on to confirm and reveal more secretly goodness. Since kidd ended up on elbaf first, and hates shanks for taking his arm, he will be comfortably sitting in elbaf's prison. In the case of garp dying, coby succeeding in his position is a very reasonable assumption. From a surface level view for the marines, it´s garp, as a mentor, rescuing his student. Some others might look at the situation thinking that garp, the hero of the marines, put so much importance on a "Mere" captain to personally face an emperor or die trying. They see the future hero of the marines, the symbol of peace, they so dearly wish for. But what many will see here is a motivation and willingness to face a massive danger to the people, be they marines, world government or the populace, instead of the cold-hearted, and even sacrficial, approach sakazuki has shown in the last two years. Like, he has invested so much into strengthening the marines, building up forces, mass-recruiting and so on, but has yet to show anything. On the contrary, one of the most powerful and trusted individuals has left the force to directly oppose them, while 2 of the strongest pillars of the old generation basically went into early retirement and took on merely figurehead positions in any way or fashion, this will be one of many incredible encounters.

One Piece 1072: The Unknown Ally

One Piece, the popular manga series, is back with its 1072nd chapter, bringing with it the promise of some major, exciting revelations. It looks like fans are in for an exciting and thrilling ride! So, been reading a lot of the theories on who is the mysterious ally that Vegapunk is referencing in previous Chapter, favourite of mine was it being Urouge, but having gone back and checked a few chapters I now actually think it’s Fujitora. his seems a little out of left field, but hear me out. What real, hard evidence do we have on who’s on the den den mushi? Well, not much, but one thing den dens do is take on the appearance of the caller on the other end, so let’s take a look at the design of the den den itself.

 

No apparent features, button dialer (as opposed to rotary as seen on many), this looks like a common ‘modern’ marine den den mushi, like what we see here with Koby calling X Drake. Except that on Koby’s the numbers are written, and it’s taken the appearance of Drake a little bit (given he’s talking to Drake here). Now, as far as I’ve discovered, there are other den den mushis without the numbers printed on the buttons, but are generally themed in some other way (i.e. Bege’s den den, but if he’s calling the den den has a hat and cigar!). However, Fujitora’s den den theming is the crossing on the eyes (conveniently hidden in Chapter 1071), but the give away is that it does not have printed numbers, I mean why would he need numbers when he’s blind? So this got me thinking, if this is indeed deliberate, to not have the numbers drawn, and it is in fact a den den mushi, then there’s a good chance it’s Fujitora’s own den den, but would that make sense?

What do we know about Fujitora’s last known whereabouts? As far as I know, the last chapter I recall with Fujitora was at the Reverie, where he’s hating on the 7 Warlords, and discussing his ban on marine islands… Where would Fujitora stay when not at sea if he cannot make port at marine islands? Well, Ryokugyu all but tells us in that chapter (905). There you have it, my theory is that Fujitora has been living on Vegapunk’s island, he’s worked out some kind of deal, and is now being called in to betray the Marines. This also makes sense with the wording chosen ‘prepared for this order’ and so on. If this is true, the only thing that makes this so strange for me is that it doesn’t quite make sense why he would betray the Marines now, so there must be some backstory. This also could set up the next arc that Vegapunk escapes with Straw Hats and a showdown occurs on Egghead behind the scenes between Fujitora and Kizaru.

One Piece 1070: Monkey D. Luffy Vs. Rob Lucci Conclusion

Luffy Gear 5 and Rob Lucci showcases his awakening in this chapter 1070 of One Piece. I still enjoy the goofiness of gear 5. It also makes for some great memes! The devil fruit explanation is pretty cool. I wonder if Luffy’s devil fruit the human human fruit: model nika was the first devil fruit that was created? Also Lucci’s awakening looks pretty cool! Why a leopard has flames! It seems like Kizaru is on his way to Egghead. I hope Zoro intercepts him because he’s literally doing nothing else!

Kizaru was already on his way to Egghead for some other thing so he should be arriving any time now. Akainu seems to think that CP0 attacking Luffy, a Yonko, is a declaration of war by the navy on Luffy. Multiple times the consequences of such a battle on both sides might actually pit the marines against the strawhat pirates including the Grand Fleet. Everybody is getting some screen time now, Revos, blackbeard pirates, red haired pirates, Marines/World government. Hard to predict what the next main villain is going to be or will it all culminate in the Final War and this is just the buildup part of the saga. I know a lot of people now think Imu is the big, bad ultimate villain since it was introduced, but the revelation of this chapter regarding Devil's Fruits strengthens my belief that Blackbeard is instead the true final villain as now even his devil fruit is now the ideological opposite of Luffy's. Where Luffy's power is to bring hope and liberation, his is simply amoral destruction. That's why he can nullify other devil fruits, because the Yami Yami no Mi is the wish to consume the world in darkness, destroying everything, even consuming the hopes of others. The clan of D could be the group of people whose desires manifested and created the first/all devil fruits. Their descendants kept the D and are people who are able to manifest their desires too. This is why people with the D in their name always shake the world, because of their strong desire, not simply because they are powerful individuals.

The anime is based on Kegan Ashura manga written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon. The manga ran from 2012 to 2018 in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday magazine. A sequel Kengan Omega from the same author/artist duo started in 2019.

An anime adaptation by LARX Entertainment began streaming on Netflix in 2019. It was directed by Seiji Kishi, with character designs by Kazuaki Morita. Makoto Uezu oversaw the series composition. Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music. The first season was streamed in two parts and each was 12 episodes long. The cast included:

'Dr. Stone: Stone Wars' Debuts in January 2021

The official website of the Dr. Stone television anime revealed a second teaser visual (pictured) and promotional video for the second season on Friday. The new season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, will premiere in January 2021.

Dr. Stone adapts Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's post-apocalyptic adventure sci-fi manga, which began its serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in March 2017. Shueisha published the 16th volume on Friday. The manga has a cumulative 5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

The 24-episode first season by TMS Entertainment premiered in Summer 2019. Crunchyroll simulcast the series with subtitles, while Funimation streamed an English dub. The latter plans to release the first 12 episodes on home video on September 22. Adult Swim's Toonami programming block began airing the show on August 24 last year.

VIZ Media published the first three chapters of the manga in English simultaneously with the Japanese release as a part of its Jump Start initiative and subsequently began serializing it in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The company now simulpubs the manga through its new Shounen Jump platform and will ship the 12th volume on July 7.

'Sidonia no Kishi' Gets New Anime Film for 2021

The official website of the Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) anime series announced a new anime film on Friday. The film, titled Sidonia no Kishi: Ai Tsumugu Hoshi, will premiere in 2021. The website also revealed staff members, a key visual (pictured), and trailer.

The film will feature contents different from the original manga by Tsutomu Nihei with a new story. Nihei is supervising the film. Cast members are reprising from the previous anime installments.

J-pop band CAPSULE will perform the theme and insert songs. The trailer previews the insert song "Utsusemi." Music producer Yasutaka Nakata wrote and composed the songs.

Sidonia no Kishi was first adapted into a 12-episode television anime in Spring 2014, which was followed by a second season the following Spring. A compilation film of the first season featuring new scenes opened in Japan in March 2015. Netflix streamed the anime seasons after they finished airing in Japan.

The sci-fi space action manga ran in Afternoon magazine from April 2009 to September 2015. Kodansha compiled the manga in 15 volumes. Vertical published all 15 volumes in English between February 2013 and April 2016.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime series in North America and released the first season in June 2015 and the second season including the film in November 2016.

Shunsui Kyōraku

Shunsui Sōzōsuke Jirō Kyōraku is the captain of the 1st Division and Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. His lieutenants are Nanao Ise and Genshirō Okikiba. He is the former captain of the 8th Division. Shunsui Kyōraku is a tall, light-skinned Shinigami with high cheekbones, grey eyes and long wavy brown hair. His hair is tied in a long ponytail and has long bangs that frame the left side of his face. He also has a noticeable amount of body hair on his chest, feet, and arms. He wears a straw hat (called a sakkat) and a pink, flowered lady's kimono, which he drapes across his shoulders and over his captain's uniform.

Although his haori and obi sash are cheap, his pin-wheel hairpins are very expensive. He does not wear tabi with his sandals. He has thin facial hair around his mouth and on his cheeks. Over a hundred years before Sōsuke Aizen's defection, Shunsui only had facial hair on his upper mouth. After the battle with the Wandenreich, Shunsui is shown to wear an eyepatch over his right eye that was damaged during the conflict. The top half of his right ear is sliced off at a slight tilt with a scar along his right temple. As a child, Shunsui is shown to have shorter and messier hair. He wore a flower patterned kimono. Shunsui is a laid-back and flamboyant man, evident in his style of dress and general attitude, and is rarely seen without a smile. In his off time, he often drinks sake in bars and naps. He likes steamed buns that go with sake, but dislikes powdered green tea. Other times, he likes to chase after women; particularly his lieutenant, Nanao Ise, whom he calls "my Nanao-chan" (Lil' Nanao in the English Dub) and his former lieutenant, Lisa Yadōmaru. Shunsui tends to use a more casual speech style than many other captains. He generally refers to his fellow captains and Shinigami by their first name followed by an honorific. He wrote a romance novel titled "Rose-colored Path", which runs in Seireitei Communication, but is very unpopular. Shunsui does not receive a single fan letter or gift for his birthday from his readers, but he is not bothered by this at all. Shunsui is a peace-loving man who will always try to talk his way out of battles, though he does not wish to insult opponents by refusing to fight. He has shown a great distaste for fighting, telling Love Aikawa that "it doesn't matter whether you owe someone or they owe you; as soon as you start fighting, you are in the wrong either way."

The slightly eccentric Shunsui also seems to like making an impression on opponents. Though Shunsui tries to talk his way out of a fight, he will fight when the situation demands it; as seen in his battle with Coyote Starrk. When Starrk asked that they only pretend to fight, he declined the offer, though noted that he prefers to do the same. Shunsui maintains a level of honor and integrity when engaging in battle. He refuses to fight with children or even in the presence of a child. He also dislikes taking the life of innocent people, as he left Chad alive when Nanao offered to kill him. He always maintains a veil of respect for his opponent, is polite in combat situations and prefers to fight one on one. When fighting powerful opponents, like Starrk or Aizen, Shunsui rarely loses his cool, going as far as to make small talk and joke around with his opponents. Despite being one of the strongest and oldest captains, Shunsui retains a level of humility and is not overly arrogant about his strength, acknowledging that Tōshirō Hitsugaya has the potential to become stronger than himself given enough time. However, Shunsui also harbors a deep sense of guilt over the misfortune that has afflicted those close to him, such as the death of his brother and the execution of Nanao's mother, and considers it a burden too heavy for him to carry alone. Master Swordsman: While hating the concept of having to engage in a fight, Shunsui is one of the most proficient swordsmen in all of Soul Society. He is a highly adaptable combatant, as his two swords have allowed him to become ambidextrous, letting him switch them between his hands. Kyōraku usually swings with more strength in his left hand than his right, however, he can easily switch or balance the strength between his two hands, allowing him to surprise his opponent. Kyōraku states that he only uses his wakizashi in situations where his katana is too difficult to use. He claims that he does not use them together on a regular basis. The best example of Shunsui's prowess is his ability to fight on even grounds with an unreleased Starrk, the 1st Espada, with only his sealed Zanpakutō, while other captain-level Shinigami have been seen requiring at least their Shikai to fight against an Espada. Shunsui's fighting style involves evasion and attacking an opponent either in the front or back, using the element of surprise to overwhelm them.His two swords move at a different pace, something he takes advantage of while fighting. While the enemy is at the mercy of his wakizashi's speed, his tachi swoops in for the final blow, which is the most common use of swords like his.
