Taylor Swift Reveals A Concert Film Set To Hit Theaters

Taylor Swift's global domination continues with her immensely successful Eras tour, and now, she's set to conquer theaters across North America. The anticipation is palpable among fans for her upcoming concert film, titled "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour," scheduled to hit theaters in North America on October 13th. According to Variety, AMC Theatres has committed to screening the film at all of its U.S. locations, with multiple showings on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during its initial run. Furthermore, many of AMC's premium screens, including Imax and Dolby Cinema, are reserved to ensure that Taylor Swift's presence remains larger than life. The film will also be showcased in Cinemark and Regal theaters across the U.S., with the expectation of additional theaters and chains joining in.

Taylor Swift Concert Film

Taylor Swift presently touring around the globe with sold-out shows, posted a tweet.

“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon,” Swift posted on her social media, alongside a trailer for the film. “Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America! Tickets are on sale now at amctheatres.com. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged… 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk).”

This cinematic experience offers fans a chance to relive the tour they may have missed or wish to experience again. Pre-sale tickets are now accessible on amctheatres.com, Cinemark, and Fandango. In classic Swift style, ticket prices are set at $13.13 for children and $19.89 for adults. AMC has taken measures to prepare for the ticket release, especially after the Ticketmaster ticketing issues during Swift's previous concerts.

"In anticipation of this announcement," AMC stated, "we have enhanced our website and ticketing systems to accommodate an unprecedented surge in ticket purchases. However, we acknowledge that no ticketing system in history has been able to handle the overwhelming demand from Taylor Swift fans when tickets are initially released. Guests eager to be among the first to secure their tickets online may encounter delays, extended waiting-room times, and potential outages. AMC is committed to swiftly addressing any delays or outages."

Fans have already begun lining up online to secure their tickets, resulting in over $10 million in pre-sales. Directed by Sam Wrench, the movie is expected to have a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes. There have been no announcements yet regarding screenings outside North America, as Swift's tour has only just begun in North America, with plans to visit other continents in the near future.

The Supermoon Captivates The World With Its Stunning Spectacle.

On Tuesday night, the first of two anticipated supermoons this month graced the skies, leaving spectators in awe as photographers worldwide captured the lunar spectacle. The full moon shone larger and brighter than usual, drawing attention with its proximity to Earth at just 222,159 miles away. This close encounter with our planet earned it the title of a "supermoon," a term coined in 1979 to describe a new or full moon occurring within 90% of perigee, its closest approach to Earth.
In North America, this full moon of August is commonly known as the "sturgeon moon," a name borrowed from Native American traditions recorded in the Maine Farmer's Almanac during the 1930s. According to these traditions, Algonquin tribes in the northeastern United States referred to this full moon as the Sturgeon Moon, named after the large fish that were plentifully caught during this time of year in the Great Lakes and other major water bodies.
And there's more to come this month. On August 30th, the moon will get even closer to Earth at just 222,043 miles away, promising another breathtaking supermoon. The last time two full supermoons appeared in the same month was in 2018, and we won't witness this phenomenon again until 2037, as confirmed by Italian astronomer Gianluca Masi, founder of the Virtual Telescope Project. Many enthusiasts had planned to enjoy the Tuesday evening supermoon rising over Rome's Coliseum through a webcast provided by Gianluca Masi. However, due to cloudy weather, the online event had to be canceled, disappointing eager viewers. Nevertheless, the year still has more lunar marvels in store, with the first supermoon in July and the fourth and final one expected in September.

Adidas Ultraboost DNA can be customized with Lego bricks

Adidas has a new version of its Ultraboost DNA running shoes with a unique twist the company’s iconic three-stripe logo is now made of real plastic Lego bricks, allowing for a pair of more customizable kicks. Officially known as the Adidas Ultraboost DNA X Lego Plates shoes, the new $200 brick sneakers feature transparent plastic slots on the side in the shape of flat two-by-six Lego plates: enough to fit three two-by-two Lego plates in each stripe.

The shoes also feature a few other Lego homages, including a Lego logo on the tongue and brick-style detailing on the top and sole of the shoes. The interior lining is also done up in a bright Lego yellow. And while the shoes do come with a collection of bricks in primary colors, there’s presumably nothing stopping you from swapping in your own bricks in more interesting colors for an even more customized look. The whole thing is actually vaguely reminiscent of Crocs specifically, the Jibbitz charms that slot in to let owners put a unique style on their rubberized shoes. The main difference here being that Lego bricks are a bit more common, and the Ultraboost shoes a bit more fashionable. The Adidas Ultraboost DNA X Lego Plates are set to go on sale on Thursday, April 8th at 10AM ET through the Adidas website for $200.

Disney+ heats up competition in the Latin American SVoD market

Amid strong expectation, Disney launched its OTT video service platform, Disney+, in Latin America and the Caribbean on 17 November, as part of its ambitious global expansion plan.

The SVoD platform, which arrives to the region after a successful reception in the US, Western Europe and Southeast Asia-Pacific, is available at US$5.99 per month, although clients can also access the platform for an annual discounted fee of US$59.99.

As part of its distribution strategy, Disney is setting up partnerships with a number of telecom operators, pay-TV and media service providers across the region, such as Telecom Argentina/Cablevision, Izzi (Televisa), Globoplay in Brazil, America Movil (Claro) and Telefonica among others. These agreements will allow operators to offer the service with monthly subscription discounts and/or extended trial periods.

GlobalData estimates that SVoD unique subscription household penetration in Latin America will reach 23.6% at year-end 2020, expanding to 33.3% by 2024. Growth will be mainly driven by the increasing uptake of broadband services; viewers changing habits, from time-scheduled to on-demand content; and the emergence of new platforms featuring locally relevant content.

Global players such as Netflix and Amazon Video, for instance, have been investing on the production of local content over the last several years, while Disney+ includes Disney’s existing catalog of locally produced series and is working on several local productions.

Zayn Malik adorably rests his head on Gigi Hadid's baby bump in these UNSEEN pregnancy photos

Gigi Hadid took to Instagram and shared never-before-seen photos from her pregnancy days. One of the photos sees Zayn Malik resting his head on her baby bump.

Over two months after Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcomed their daughter, the supermodel took to Instagram and shared a few never-before-seen photos from her pregnancy days. Through the period, Gigi opted to keep her pregnancy away from the spotlight. Although she gave us a look at her growing baby bump via an Instagram Live in the summer, she shared minimal photos from the phase. However, Gigi has now shared three new photos from the late summer and it features Zayn Malik.

In the photo featuring the former One Direction singer, the Pillow Talk crooner rested his head on the baby bump. The singer had his eyes locked with Gigi while the duo smiled at each other. Gigi donned a white ensemble while Zayn sported a messy hairdo. In the other two photos from the post, Gigi posed solo, putting her growing baby bump on full display. The model shared the photos with the caption revealing that they were clicked in August as ZiGi counted down the days to their daughter's arrival. "August, waiting for our girl," she wrote.

A few weeks since the photos were taken, Gigi and Zayn welcomed their daughter in New York City. Baby ZiGi was born on September 23, 2020. The couple hasn't disclosed their daughter's name yet. But they have shared glimpses of the little one on numerous occasions. This includes the family's first Halloween together. More recently, Gigi's mother Yolanda Hadid took to her Instagram Stories and shared a picture of Gigi kissing her daughter. Check out the photo in the link below.

Holiday Specials 2020: From Mariah Carey to ‘Peanuts,’ these are must-watch viewing

December is here, and that means a full platter of holiday viewing on your TV menu.

Whichever holiday you celebrate, there’s no shortage of festive programming across the broadcast, cable and streaming networks. And while things might be a bit different this year, with fewer opportunities for in-person celebrations, the small screen still has plenty of old favorites and new specials — including these holiday treats.

“Holiday Movies that Made Us”

Dec. 1 on Netflix

A spinoff of the 2017 series “Toys That Made Us,” this docuseries focuses on the behind-the-scenes stories of classic holiday films including “Elf” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” “Toys That Made Us” narrator Donald Ian Black returns for this followup.

“My Gift: A Christmas Special from Carrie Underwood”

Dec. 3 on HBO Max

The country superstar will perform classic Christmas songs as well as cuts from her recent album “My Gift.” The special will also include a duet with John Legend, as they sing “Hallelujah.”
“A Charlie Brown Christmas”

Dec. 4 on Apple TV+ and Dec. 13 on PBS

Good grief. The ’60s-era classic Peanuts movie featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and the gang will hit stream on Apple TV+ but don’t fret; if you’re not a subscriber, it will repeat nine days later on PBS and PBS Kids at 7:30 p.m.
“Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special”

Dec. 4 on AppleTV+

It’s all she wants for Christmas. The pop diva hosts her star-studded annual special, which this year includes Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri and more.

“A Holly Dolly Christmas”

Dec. 6 on CBS (8:30 p.m.)

Dolly Parton has had a busy 2020, between donating to the coronavirus vaccine, appearing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, having a Netflix musical (“Christmas on the Square”), putting out a book, and now hosting a CBS special. “Holly Dolly Christmas” will feature the 74-year-old superstar performing music from a candle-lit set.

“Euphoria”

Dec. 6 on HBO (9 p.m.)

Zendaya returns to her Emmy-winning role in the edgy HBO teen drama, which will have two specials ahead of a delayed Season 2 (which has no premiere date yet). The holiday special picks up after the tumultuous events of Season 1, when Rue (Zendaya) has been left by Jules (Hunter Schafer) and relapsed, as she celebrates Christmas.

“Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch Musical”

Dec. 9 on NBC (8 p.m.)

“Glee” star Matthew Morrison will play the latest rendition of the classic grumpy Dr. Seuss character in NBC’s musical, broadcast from the Troubadour Theater in London and joining “Peter Pan” (Allison Williams) and “Jesus Christ Superstar” (John Legend) from years past. Co-starring Denis O’Hare and Booboo Stewart.
“High School Musical: The Musical: The Holiday Special”

Dec. 11 on Disney+

This special holiday episode of the franchise finds the show’s main cast (Olivia Rodrigo, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester and more) discussing the holidays in-between performing classic songs. Series star Joshua Bassett will also perform his new song “The Perfect Gift.”
“The Christmas Setup”

Dec. 12 on Lifetime (8 p.m.)

Lifetime’s first LGBTQ holiday movie stars real-life couple Ben Lewis (“Arrow”) and Blake Lee (“Fam). The plot follows New York lawyer Hugo (Lewis) who runs into Patrick (Lee), his high school crush when he returns home to Milwaukee for the holidays. Their romance is threatened when Hugo gets a work promotion that requires a move to London.
“The Walking Dead Holiday Special”

Dec 13 on AMC+

Yeah, we know: a zombie show is an odd contender for spreading cheer, but the pop-culture juggernaut is having its first-ever holiday special. It’s hosted by Chris Hardwick and will include cast members from all three shows in the ever-expanding franchise (“The Walking Dead,” “Fear the Walking Dead” and prequel series “The Walking Dead: World Beyond”).

“Love, Lights, Hanukkah!”

Dec. 20 on Hallmark (8 p.m.)

Hallmark is known for its domination of Christmas TV movies, and 2020 is no different — but this year’s offerings also include a Hannukkah-themed movie celebrating the “Festival of Lights”(beginning Dec. 10) with stars Mira Kirshner (“The L Word”) and Ben Savage (“Boy Meets World”).

Kelsea Ballerini Rocks Sexy Red Mini DressFor ‘Santa Baby’ Performance On CMACountry Christmas

Kelsea Ballerini slayed in a gorgeous, holiday-inspired look when she hit the stage to sing during 2020’s ‘CMA Country Christmas ‘on Nov. 30.

The holiday season is upon us, and Kelsea Ballerini helped us get in the spirt with her performance during CMA Country Christmas on Nov. 30. The country star sang a rendition of “Santa Baby,” and added to the sultry vibe of the performance with a sexy look. She wore a strapless red mini dress, which put her toned and tanned legs on display. The look was complete with bright red lipstick and her hair in loose waves.

Kelsea Ballerini is ravishing in red for CMA Country Christmas. (ABC)

Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, CMA Country Christmas had to be filmed without a live audience this year. Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, hosted the intimate gathering, which featured country singers performing holiday classics, as well as some original hits. Other performers at the event included Dan + Shay, Gabby Barrett, Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line and more.

CMA Country Christmas comes just weeks after the 2020 CMA Awards, where Kelsea also performed. She was added to the performance list at the last minute, and absolutely owned the night when she hit the stage to sing “Hole In The Bottle.” In October, Kelsea also rocked out to her song, “The Other Girl,” at the CMT Awards. She was joined by Halsey for the sexy, Coyote Ugly-themed performance.

While 2020 kept artists off the road due to restrictions on gatherings amidst the coronavirus, Kelsea has definitely managed to keep busy. She released her third album in March, just days after the country went on lockdown. Over the summer, she recorded stripped-down versions of every song on the record and released a second version in September. Kelsea also teamed up with Shania Twain to drop a remix of “Hole In The Bottle” earlier this month.

On top of all of that, she and her husband, Morgan Evans, moved into a new home in Nashville. After several weeks of packing up their previous house, they’re now working on settling into their new place. What a ride!

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Finally Shares the Yukino and Hachiman Scene Fans Have Been Waiting For

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU will be bringing its series to an end with the next episode, but before the finale the anime finally gave us the Yukino and Hachiman scene that fans have been waiting to see all along. Ever since the anime first began, the central relationship between Hachiman Hikigaya and Yukino Yukinoshita has been one of the core elements of the franchise as fans saw the two steadily growing closer during their work as members of the service club. But as the series gears up for its finale with the third season, the two of them had been challenging their relationship.

One of the major problems the two of them were facing together with Yui Yuigahama was the fact that Hachiman and Yukino felt like they were in a co-dependent relationship with one another. The central conflict of the final season then grew more intense as they tried their hardest to push back against the idea and each other as a result.

But in the penultimate episode of My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax, the final season of the series overall, Hachiman had finally had enough of this and he and Yukino had a deep conversation for the first real time in the season. Now the two of them have officially confessed their love for one another.

The penultimate episode of the season saw Hachiman struggling with his feelings for Yukino, and thanks to a final push from his teacher, he finally found the words he wanted to say to her. This ends up having Yukino reveal her feelings for Hachiman as well, and the two of them confess that they want to devote their lives to one another from here on out. Whatever path the future holds for them, they want to be in each others' lives. It's what the series has been building to, and now the anime will be coming to an end.

Here's How John Cena Felt About Being So Polarizing During His Prime Years in WWE

John Cena was known for two things during his run as a WWE main event — delivering great matches on big stages and be polarizing to fans. By the end of his main event run the "John Cena Sucks" chants went hand-in-hand with his entrance music, even as he gradually won over fans with gimmicks like the United States Championship Open Challenge. "The Face That Runs The Place" had always brushed off the booing fans in interviews, saying that fans were allowed to cheer for whoever they wanted. But in the latest edition of WWE Untold, he went a little deeper on that thought process.

The episode, titled "The Champ is HeRe," recapped Cena's feud with Edge from 2006 over the WWE Championship. The fan backlash towards Cena was on full display during the feud, particularly when Cena faced Rob Van Dam at the ECW One Night Stand event.

"Every time you see me come out, it's like I'm shot out of a cannon," Cena said (h/t Fightful for transcript). "It's because I'm ready, I'm ready to go, and that's whether you're telling me I suck or whether you're telling me that I'm great. It's why I orchestrate you to continue to make noise because as a performer, this makes me feel 10-feet tall. Just audible reaction."

"I love it when a group of people has so much energy that it's viscerally negative towards me," he added. "I also love it when the energy is so overwhelmingly positive, it does lift you up. It's like it's all so f—ing wonderful."

Cena was last seen in a WWE ring at WrestleMania 36, where he lost the Firefly Fun House match against Bray Wyatt and was forced to relive his greatest career failures. He recently commented on the match in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

"I've had many experiences and many stories in WWE over my tenure there, and a lot of it has been embracing conflict and embracing the tale of good versus evil," Cena said. "This isn't the first time I've done something like this. For the viewing audience, it was the first time they'd seen a cinematic depiction of this, but this isn't the first time that we've seen a conflicted John Cena character. As with all the opportunities I get in WWE, I never try to be complacent and I always like to push the envelope. This was an instance where we could do just that, and I think we put forth a product that certainly got people's attention and got people talking."

"It left a lot of questions," he later added. "It wasn't just single-serving, it is something you can go back and watch and enjoy. Those are some of the best efforts."

Quibi Renews Kevin Hart’s Die Hart For Second Season

Kevin Hart is coming back to Quibi! The first season of Die Hart followed Hart as a fictionalized version of himself who strived to become an action star. The first season also featured John Travolta as Ron Wilcox, an unhinged teacher who runs "the world’s greatest action star school" as well as Game of Thrones' Nathalie Emmanuel as a "tough-minded rival student." You could even catch Penny Dreadful star, Josh Harnett, playing himself. According to Deadline, Quibi has ordered a second season/sequel, which is being dubbed Die Harter.

"LOL Studios is excited to produce season 2 of Die Hart and continue our work to bring premium comedic content and new IP to market," Jeff Clanagan, President of Laugh Out Loud, shared. Hart also posted about the news, which you can check out below:

"What I would love to shoot, The Rock cameo that I dreamed of having here would be, I want to see a scene from the movie that Kevin is promoting at the beginning of Die Hart," Appel explained. "I want to see exactly, what is this movie that you did with The Rock, because he's on this talk show to promote. I wish that we had a clip to show from that, but no. There was never anything in the script as far as The Rock making a cameo."

While we certainly wish we could have seen The Rock pop up on the show, there are plenty of movies to watch that feature both Hart and Johnson, including Central Intelligence, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Jumanji: The Next Level, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

During the interview, Appel also talked about how they filmed the show more like a movie.

"We always thought of it as a movie internally. On set, we filmed it like it was a movie, too. It wasn't episode by episode," he explained. "We mixed everything up and shot all of it based on what locations we were at, and actors' availability and schedules. But it was always thought of as one big narrative piece, that would be broken into chapters, but yeah. It was definitely thought of as a movie, more than it was a TV series."

Eddie Murphy Wins First Emmy for Saturday Night Live Return

Last December, Eddie Murphy returned to Saturday Night Live for the first time in 35 years. One of the most anticipated television events of the year, Murphy's return was lauded by all who tuned in, and now, it's netted the comedian his first-ever Emmy win. Saturday evening, the Television Academy revealed Murphy won the Guest Actor Comedy Series Emmy, a category packed to the brim with stiff competition.

Also nominated in the category this year were Brad Pitt and Adam Driver, both for their roles hosting Saturday Night Live this past year, Dev Patel (Modern Love), Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), and the late Fred Willard (Modern Family). It was Murphy's fifth Emmy nomination.

His first three nominations came during his time on SNL in the early 1980s. In 1983, Murphy was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy, Variety, or Music series while he tallied two nominations in 1984 — Writing in a Variety or Music Program, and Oustanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program. His fourth nomination was in 1999 for The PJs.

Murphy's fame largely came in part to his involvement in SNL from 1980 until 1984. He served as host twice throughout his career on the show. The funnyman's SNL return right before Christmas last year wasn't just one of the show's highest-rated episodes of the season, but of the previous decade. Nielsen reported 9.921 million viewers watched the show live and a whopping 16.3 million viewers were counted in the DVR +7 numbers, making it the highest-rated episode of Saturday Night Live since 2008.

As a whole, SNL Season 45 is one of the most divisive seasons rated on Rotten Tomatoes. While it was a hit with critics (72-percent Fresh,) the season has a paltry 34-percent Rotten Audience Score.

Murphy can now add his Emmy next to the Golden Globe he won in 2007 for Dreamgirls, a role he also earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination for at the 2007 Oscars.

Viral Avatar: The Last Airbender Art Imagines Zuko and Iroh's Emotional Reunion

One of the major cores of Avatar: The Last Airbender was the relationship between Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh, and one viral piece of artwork for the series imagines an emotional reunion for the two long after they had been separated. Zuko and Iroh's father and son relationship turned out to be great for the both of them as they both found comfort in the missing parts of their lives within each other. Theirs was a connection forged through equal parts love and pain, and it's why fans wondered what truly happened to the two in the years following Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Because while The Legend of Korra was a direct sequel to the series, it saw a much older Zuko who had since parted ways with his uncle upon Iroh's passing. We saw Iroh wandering around the spirit world, and one artist imagined what it would look like if the two were reunited in the spirit world once Zuko passed as well.

Artist Devin Elle Kurtz, who serves as the lead background painter for Netflix's Disenchantment series, (and who you can find more work from on Twitter here) imagines what that kind of reunion would look like and it's a doozy. It's packed with so much emotion that it's a scene we definitely need to see animated someday.

The Legend of Korra was a strong series in its own right, but in many ways it disappointed as a follow up to the first series. It might have been the raised expectations, but what many wanted to see was more adventures from the original characters. They have continued forward with new stories in the comics, but there's definitely hope that the animated series can tackle it someday. If not, maybe even the live-action one coming to Netflix? That seems more unlikely by the day as recent public exits have made evident. What do you think?
