Miss candelle ma’am your design is gorgeous. Poor brook, you can feel how conflicted he feels about the possibility that he spend decades resenting shuri for something that she may not have done willingly. Brook's homeland is esperia which means land of the setting sun while luffy is from dawn island. Brook striking the nika pose. Brook have a younger sister figure who lost their memories and became a god knight while luffy has an older brother figure who lost his memories and became a revolutionary. For some people experiencing dejá vu, some clarification: esperia is called "the land of instrument makers." while elegia, from one piece film: red, is called the "island of music". I am here for more brook backstory!
Kind of curious who else has elements of their backstory that might warrant a revisit to their past in the future. Only backstory gaps i can think of would be the identity of the birth parents for franky or nami. Maybe how chopper or robin got their devil fruits. I guess there is also luffy's mom, but if her identity is revealed, it will probably be in a dragon flashback. I saw one theory that candelle is a god knight who infiltrated esperia because the king reuven is a descendant of the davy clan and had a child just like garling. When it was time for the hunt, candelle took shuri and brainwashed her to be a god knight. As for brook, he probably went on a mission and later found about what happened and decided to be a pirate. Even rumbar pirates could be former citizens of esperia.
