Jordan Spizike Low "Bordeaux": A Presidential Touch

The Jordan Spizike Low “Bordeaux” has garnered the endorsement of former President Barack Obama. This striking colorway first caught attention in January 2012 when the legendary filmmaker Spike Lee presented a pair of the original Spizike high-tops to Obama. Now, Nike reinterprets this iconic design with a contemporary low-top silhouette, breathing new life into a classic.

The Spizike Low incorporates elements from various classic Air Jordan models. The elephant print overlays on the toe and heel pay homage to the Air Jordan 3, while the signature wings on the collar draw inspiration from the Air Jordan 4, providing both lacing support and visual appeal. A vibrant grid-patterned eyestay in Surf Blue, complemented by matching collar lining, adds a splash of color, while varsity red laces create a striking contrast against the sleek black and white upper, enhancing texture and depth.

The heel branding completes the design, featuring Spike Lee’s iconic Mars Blackmon logo on the left shoe and the emblem of his production company, 40 Acres and a Mule, on the right. Both logos are stamped in Surf Blue and Varsity Red, delivering a bold and dynamic finish.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Stage Haze Release Date

The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Stage Haze” also known as “Grey Fog” is officially making its debut this summer. The Jordan Brand is gearing up for slew of releases for the Air Jordan 1 High OGs recently anouncing the drop of the highly-anticipated “Rebellionaire” in March.
The upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Stage Haze” is constructed with a white, black and grey color scheme, highlighting a monochromatic finish similar to that of the “Rebellionaire.” This pair of Air Jordan 1s is accented by a touch of bleached coral seen on the Nike (NYSE:NKE -1.85%) Air tongue label, matching the insole. The Swoosh and overlays are highlighted with a subtle detailing from the cracked black leather, while grey suede adorns the heels. The shoe sits atop a clean white midsole and grey outsole to round off the shoe. The pair also comes equipped with three sets of laces, in white, black and coral. Look out for the shoe on June 1 on Nike and select retailers for a price of $170 USD.
