The Walking Dead All Stars RPG Release Dates

The Walking Dead: All-Stars is available for pre-register on Android and iOS. The Walking Dead: All-Stars is the latest mobile game taking place in The Walking Dead's universe, this time in the form of a tactical squad-based RPG. The Walking Dead: All-Stars will allow players to collect a wide range of survivors, including some of the most iconic characters from The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead is an extremely popular franchise, having begun as a thrilling and gruesome zombie horror comic series before being adapted into AMC's live-action The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: World Beyond television dramas. The franchise has since spun off into numerous games, particularly Telltale Games' The Walking Dead series, as well as a VR adaptation in The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. The franchise has also dipped into the mobile games market with several entries, including The Walking Dead: Survivors, Walking Dead: Road to Survival, and The Walking Dead No Man's Land. The latest mobile game set in Skybound's The Walking Dead universe is The Walking Dead: All-Stars, developed by experienced South Korean developer and publisher Com2uS. Com2uS is behind many successful mobile games including Summoner's War, which boasts over 100 million downloads and maintains a strong population over seven years after release. The Walking Dead: All-Stars will feature somewhat similar squad-based tactics gameplay using teams of collected survivors to progress through increasingly difficult story-driven challenges, while players will also be able to do some base management by developing their personal sanctuaries with resources earned through gameplay.

The game's visual style is clearly based on The Walking Dead comic series rather than the live-action AMC series, which lends well to the 2D mobile game format. A diverse cast of familiar survivors including Rick, Michonne, and Glenn will be collectible along with antagonists such as Negan and Alpha, so fans of The Walking Dead will most likely have a chance to acquire their favorite characters. The game will include several different modes besides the normal stages, such as Supply Run, Camp Defense, Joint Combat, and Auto-Search. A dedicated PvP mode also pits players' squads against one another to obtain resources in true The Walking Dead fashion. Pre-registration for the game is available on The Walking Dead: All-Stars' website which will give gamers a chance to try it out early, although no full release date has been announced as of yet. A zombie-stomping squad-based collection game might be just the time-killer The Walking Dead fans need while waiting for the big premiere of Tales of the Walking Dead.

Netflix Launches First Mobile Games With Two 'Stranger Things' Titles

Netflix has debuted its first mobile game titles to its global subscribers on Android, Netflix’s VP of Game Development Mike Verdu announced on Tuesday. The inaugural lineup includes two Stranger Things titles Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game which first arrived for Android users exclusively in Poland in August. Additional games available to the platform’s subscribers include Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games) and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop).

“Whether you’re craving a casual game you can start from scratch or an immersive experience that lets you dig deeper into your favorite stories, we want to begin to build a library of games that offers something for everyone,” Verdu said in a blog post. “We’re in the early days of creating a great gaming experience, and we’re excited to take you on this journey with us.” Users who open the Netflix app on their mobile Android devices will now see a designated games tab where they will be able to click on games to download and play. Each game will automatically be playable in the language that the user has set on their Netflix account; however, the language will default to English if the user’s chosen language is not yet available in Netflix’s games. The gaming tab will only appear for adult accounts on the streamer, meaning children’s accounts will not be able to access the mobile games. Parents and guardians are able to create a PIN number in order to unlock games on Netflix for children’s accounts. Netflix’s games are expected to become available on iOS “soon,” according to a Netflix

Apex Legends Mobile Betas to Begin In May 2021

Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment announced that its battle royale shooter will be released on mobile devices, kicking off with a beta version available later this month. "Beginning later this month, we're kicking off the first regional beta tests for Apex Legends Mobile," Apex Legends Game Director Chad Grenier wrote on EA's website. "This is a huge moment for our team. Two years ago we changed the landscape of the battle royale genre, and now we’re aiming to do it again on mobile." The beta version of Apex Legends Mobile will only be available to players in India and the Philippines later this month before being rolled out to more regions throughout the year. It will initially be only available on Android phones and will implement iOS support after further testing.

Grenier went on to say that this version of the shooter is tailored specifically to mobile devices. "Apex Legends Mobile is specially designed for touchscreens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a phone," he explained. For this reason, the mobile version will not feature crossplay ability with either the PC or console versions of Apex Legends. "To put it simply, the best is yet to come for PC and console players," Grenier concluded. The next big update to Apex Legends will come in the form of the shooter's ninth season, titled Legacy, which is set to be released on May 4. A new Legend named Valkyrie, a Titan pilot who blames Titanfall 2 antagonist Kuben Blisk for her father's death, was showcased in the most recent "Stories from the Outlands" trailer titled "Northstar." She will be featured in the new season alongside a new weapon called the Bocek Bow and a version of the map Olympus that is infested and overgrown with roots and other plant growths. Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, Apex Legends is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, X Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch. Apex Legends: Legacy will be available May 4. Apex Legends Mobile will be available in beta version to different regions throughout the year and is expected to release worldwide in 2022.

Nokia 5.1 Plus now receiving Android 10 in the latest update

The Nokia 5.1 Plus was announced almost 2 years ago as Nokia X5 in China. It was launched as Nokia 5.1 Plus in 2018. The Nokia 5.1 Plus, alongside all the other eligible Nokia smartphones that didn’t receive Android 10, should get the update by the end of June this year. In India, Nokia 5.1 Plus users will now receive the latest Android 10 update.

The phone was launched in India in August 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The phone has received the Android 9 Pie update, and it is now getting its second major Android update is Android 10. HMD Global has updated a total of 15 Nokia smartphones to the latest version of the OS. HMD Global ( the post-Microsoft continuation of Android-based Nokia devices) has announced the update rollout in 34 countries, including India, Australia, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, etc.

The rollout will begin across the globe in two phases. This is just the first wave of the rollout. There will be another phase of it. The rest of the countries will receive further updates soon.

The company has committed to two years of OS updates for the 5.1 Plus, which launched in December of 2018. Will the Android 11 update arrive before the deadline or is this the last major update? Well, that is a question to be asked in some future updates.

Stay updated

Here are some new and exciting features that Nokia 5.1 Plus owners will experience after installing the update:

  • Gesture Navigation: control of your Nokia smartphone just got slicker, with faster and more intuitive controls at the tip of your fingers.
  • Smart Reply: receive even smarter responses in messages, not just wording but actions you can take.
  • Privacy Controls: have even more control of your personal data all in one place, and control when your location is shared with your apps – be that always, just while in use, or never
  • Focus mode: block out distracting apps when you need to concentrate on what is important.
  • Family Link: now part of the Digital Wellbeing settings, helping parents set digital ground rules for the whole family.
