When rock's is about to strike loki, he assumes the exact same pose as roger did right before he (roger) and whitebeard clashed in the oden flashback. Almost like a baseball slugger stepping up to the plate. Wonder if that's to highlight that roger and rocks were similar despite being enemies. Rocks is definitely a mad man wrapped in an enigma. For starters, what’s behind his hatred of the world government and his determination to overthrow it? Was he a former slave? Also, he actually knows about imu and made it to the flower room, but he didn’t try to attack imu. Did he come to the conclusion that imu was stronger than he was? And why didn’t imu try to kill rocks given that he knows his identity? Imu instantly tried to kill sabo when he interrupted cobra getting murdered, so what makes rocks so different that imu didn’t attack him? Why couldn't the current giants at least be somewhat competent and comparable to harald? Harald crossed swords with a guy holding some of the biggest feats of the verse and was instantly acknowledged. Meanwhile the current "Strongest, most legendary warriors in the world" were all folded like trash by a few people and couldn't even come close to mustering a resistance. Every single achievement in that fight was by someone that isn't a giant. I'm fine with them ultimately losing but they are just so pathetic compared to their hype. Could've let them get a few good swings in until imu shows up least. The worf-effect was taken way too far.
