Rocks reminds a lot of kid. Probably because they're wearing the same outfit but he also seems like that kind of counterpart to roger, where rocks is more violent and destructive compared to the already violent and destructive roger, just like luffy and kid. I love how normal whitebeard is in the rocks flashbacks. He's always the voice of reason and that's so funny coming from 'the devil himself' who was flipping oceans to get his kid back.
