A brook touching backstory during elbaf was definitely not in my one piece bingo card this year. Also shuri being a perv like brook and saying those things while acting innocent is hilarious and a bit disturbing at the same time given her age. How in the world did she become a puppet of imu. Esperia must have done something major to threaten or really piss off the world government. I’m a bit worried about shuri’s fate once elbaph ends. Assuming imu ends his contract with shuri, best case scenario she reverts into an elderly woman. Saturn likely only turned to bones because he was probably already way past the average human lifespan.
Even then, this won’t magically undo all the atrocities she committed as a god knight. We’ve seen how civilians reacted to doffy’s family; she won’t be able to live amongst regular civilians. Of course i’m sure she’ll have some semblance of redemption and a moment with brook. I’m wondering if this is the one “princess of the arc” that oda is willing to kill off.
