Marvel’s Spider-Man Fan Adds PS1 Model To The Game

For nearly four years, Marvel’s Spider-Man remained exclusive to PlayStation. That’s no longer the case now that Spider-Man Remastered is available on PC, yet many still consider it synonymous with the PlayStation brand due to how successful it was as a Sony exclusive. It’s fitting then that one fan has kept the Spidey/PlayStation theme alive by modding the character model from the original PS1 Spider-Man into Marvel’s Spider-Man.

It’s now possible to kick it old-school in the wall-crawler’s most modern game courtesy of modder Crazy Potato, who created a mod for Marvel's Spider-Man that swaps out the Classic Suit in Insomniac’s open-world title with the Spidey from Neversoft’s 2000 game. The PS1-era character model is recreated perfectly here, complete with the dislocated limbs and the flat outfit texture placed over a rough polygonal body.

A clip of the Marvel's Spider-Man mod in action was also shared by Reddit user jjarack. The footage is short and fairly basic, showing the PS1 Spidey performing a few melee and web attacks on a rooftop before jumping off to web-sling past a few buildings and eventually landing atop one to take a selfie. Still, it’s a good showcase for the brief runtime, and it’s neat to see Neversoft’s version of Peter Parker performing tricks and moving with a fluidity that wasn’t really possible to achieve back at the turn of the century.

Crazy Potato’s mod is the realization of the dream of fans who have been wanting to see the PS1 Spider-Man added to Marvel’s Spider-Man, though it’s not without at least one issue. According to Crazy Potato, the suit can glitch out and turn blue on occasion, but while this can apparently be fixed simply by fast-traveling or loading the last save, they stated that they will work on a proper fix.

As for whether fans may someday be able to play as Neversoft’s Spidey officially, that’s hard to say. Although Marvel’s Spider-Man has plenty of alternate suits referencing previous iterations of Peter Parker, there’s a fair bit of red tape to consider in this case. Sony owns the rights to make Spider-Man games at the moment, but Neversoft’s game was published by Activision, which is soon to be owned by Microsoft. The amount of parties that would probably need to be involved would likely not make it worthwhile for Sony, and that’s also why a remaster of the original PS1 Spider-Man game might not be likely any time soon.

Despite the hurdles, odds are fans won’t stop hoping for it to happen one day. While it may be quite antiquated by today’s standards, especially given the bar set by Insomniac’s games, Neversoft’s Spider-Man remains a beloved entry in Spider-Man’s video game history for how well it nailed the feel of the comics. No wonder then that fans have been eager to see it represented in a modern Spidey game one way or another.

Stardew Valley Player Turns Pelican Town into Slime-Filled Nightmare

Stardew Valley is a slice-of-life farming game that offers so much more than just planting seeds and making friends with the townsfolk. The amount of dedication to detail from developer Eric Barone, who goes by ConcernedApe, doesn't stop at the farming aspects of the game. Instead, players are treated to an extensive amount of ways to approach a playthrough, and one player saw this as an opportunity to re-imagine the quaint and peaceful Pelican Town as a slimy nightmare.

Pelican Town is one of the primary locations in Stardew Valley that the farmer will run around other than their own farm, in order to befriend the townsfolk, visit Pierre's General Store for seeds, and donate various items to the museum. However, Reddit user Sparkleskeleton decided the town could use a little more personality, and in a video showing off their diabolical takeover, their game struggles to keep up with the massive amount of slimes running rampant over the screen.

The minute-long video follows Sparkleskeleton as they gallop around the town, pushing through massive groups of multi-colored slimes. While the townsfolk walking around seem unperturbed by the fact that their town has been turned into a giant Slime Hutch, the game takes issue with the existence of so many of the jiggling slimes. The game stutters and struggles to keep up with Sparkleskeleton as they circle around from Pierre's, down across the bridge to the museum, up towards the movie theater, back to Pierre's, before making a final lap around the upper part of the map near the Community Center. The entire time, slimes can be seen bobbing in place, solo or in groups, with some of them leaping towards the horse as it gallops past.

Because of the ever-branching ways to play Stardew Valley, some players opt for a casual romp through the world, building their perfectly aesthetic farm and becoming beloved by all the NPCs. There are also those who want to 100% the game, and who will do everything in their power to obtain all the hidden secrets Stardew Valley has to offer. However, there are also the players out there who find some parts of Stardew Valley, such as the fishing mechanics or the amount of effort that goes into becoming friends with someone, to be incredibly frustrating. Those players may solve their frustrations by never touching the fishing skill, or steering clear of certain NPCs altogether if they don't want to chain themselves to a gift-giving schedule.

Stardew Valley can absolutely be played for comfort, but there are no rules against a more chaotic playthrough. Unleashing a torrent of slimes on the people of Pelican Town definitely sounds like an interesting way to start a fresh game.

Xbox Series X’s Price May Have Leaked, And It Isn’t Bang For The Buck!

Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5: Both are all ready for the upcoming console war.

A report by Bloomberg was released on Thursday which said that the PlayStation 5 might be the most expensive console in 25 years of gaming products by Sony.

The manufacturing cost of the PS5 is supposed to be $450 per unit. Therefore, we can expect a price of $500 or maybe higher. This definitely provides Xbox Series X to win the race by cutting out its price.

However, the company has not announced the price officially of their console. But both, Microsoft and Sony have confirmed that these consoles are going to have a powerful and expensive technology. Both the next-gen consoles will have solid-state drives and also support ray-tracing.

Well, we expect that Microsoft is in a better position to give these features at a comparatively lower price.

As we see that, Xbox is currently lagging behind PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Therefore, it needs to have a powerful comeback. The release of Xbox Series X might be a chance for Microsoft to turn the power towards them in the next generation.

How is it possible for Microsoft to undercut PS5?

As we have seen that Microsoft is the most profitable company in the world. They valued more than $1 trillion as of the stats of January. And most of the hard cash is earned from the other departments that have nothing to do with Xbox.
History can Repeat

PS3 was released back in 2006 and was priced at $599 which was $100 more than Microsoft. Therefore, PS3 reported slower sales because of the wrong steps taken by the company in terms of price.

Therefore, either Sony will keep the price of PS5 lower than Series X and take a massive loss or price it higher than the Xbox Series X resulting in slower sales.

In both ways, PS5 is going to have a risky future.

HyperScape: Here Are The Best Weapons That Would Get You The Crown Victory!

HyperScape: In order to win in most of the battle royale games, we have to kill all the players in the match. But, in HyperScape you don’t have to do so in order to win. Also, you can go for the Crown and can win that way. Once you have caught the Crown you will have to hold it for 45 seconds. The only problem is that your location will be revealed to everyone who is near you.

Therefore, the best option here is running so find any skill such as teleporting, which can help you at that moment. Slam will also be a good choice as it will transport you to a different place for a period of time. So, use both the abilities to escape from the other players.

Weapons that are recommended

We have listed the best weapons that you can use:

  • Hexfire- The magazine size of Hexfire can start at 150 and can go up to 270 at level 5.
  • D-Tap- If you are not perfect at aiming then D-Tap is the best sidearm that you should have. The bullets of this weapon auto-track the enemies itself.
  • Skybreaker- This is a weird weapon. It is a bit situational especially in a movement, heavy game like the HyperScape. But this offers really good damage at higher ranks.
  • Komodo- This weapon is slow at firing. But is pretty good at 29 per shot.
  • Ripper- This rifle gives an output of 11 body/ 16 headshot damage per shot from rank 1 to 4 and 13/18 headshot damage at level 5.
  • Protocol-V- This is a choice of most of the snipers which deal with 50 body shot damage and 75 headshot at rank 1 which rises to 80 body shot and 120 headshot damage.

The Release Date of Diablo 4:

Though we can expect the show to be released in 2021 or 2022 or maybe longer since developing a game is definitely not an easy task, and takes time. However, the makers of the show never deliver the show very soon as they did with the second and third edition of the show.

The game is designed in the best way for its fans. Any gamer can try his hands on this popular game on any platform ranging from PC Xbox or PlayStation 4. Thus making it easy for the game to engage a large audience in itself.

Some say the game to be more like any other game with no eye-catching visuals as such while some find the game worth playing and investing their time in this calling it a perfect game.

Except for two trailers of the show by Blizzard Entertainment, no announcements have been made in addition. So not much can be done than waiting for the game to be released one its development is complete for the gamers to enjoy.

Valorant: Reyna

Reyna is a VALORANT agent with an aggressive, duel-centric playstyle. Reyna's unique mechanic are the so-called Soul Orbs, which drop when she kills an opponent and which, upon consumption, give her various bonuses — from massive healing to invisibility.

Reyna's ultimate ability is Empress, which turns her into a rapid-fire death machine, dramatically increasing all her combat stats. Every kill renews Empress' duration, and a skilled Reyna player can wipe away the entire team in one swift offense.

Abilities

Dismiss (E) – Consumes a nearby soul orb, becoming intangible for a short duration. If your ultimate is active, also become invisible.

Leer (C) – Throw an eye through surfaces. The eye will blind all enemies who look at – only affects distant vision, so use to take on AWPers.

Devour (Q) – Enemies killed by Reyna leave behind Soul Orbs that last 3 seconds. Consume a nearby soul orb, rapidly healing for a short duration. Health gained through this skill exceeding 100 will decay over time. If your ultimate is active, this skill will automatically cast and not consume the orb.

Empress (X) – Enter a frenzy, increasing firing speed, equip, and reload speed dramatically. Scoring a kill renews the duration.

Valorant: Omen

Omen is a VALORANT agent who is clouded in mystery and speacializes in covering the battlefield and his enemies in darkness. Two of his abilities, Paranoia and Dark Cover, are ranged attacks that obscure vision and give Omen a huge advantage in duels and teamfights.

On top of his crowd controlling skills, Omen has the ability to teleport around the map — either on short distances with Shadow Walk, or globally on the map with his From the Shadows ultimate. Therefore, a team with both Omen and Brimstone becomes incredibly dangerous, as it can deploy damage and crowd control anywhere on the map, seemingly out of nowhere.

Abilities

Dark Cover (E) – Cast an orb that bursts into a sphere of shadow obscuring the final location. Can be charged to increase distance.

Shrouded Step (C) – After a delay, teleport a short distance.

Paranoia (Q) – Cast a shadow in a straight line that blinds anyone it touches.

Valorant: Sova

Sova is a VALORANT agent, who specializes in scouting and reconnaisance. Sova's entire kit is built around finding the enemies and marking them for his allies. Owl Drone and Recon Bolt are a single target and AoE scanners, respectively. Sova's ultimate, Hunter's Fury, is a map-wide damaging ability that also marks enemies it hits. Hunter’s Fury (X) – Fire up to three energy blasts that spear across the entire map and each hit enemy takes damages and is marked.

Valorant: Cypher

Skilled Cypher players will have intimate knowledge of VALORANT maps to know the best places to set traps and Spycams, crippling the enemy team while staying hidden in the shadows.

Abilities

Spycam (E) – Place a remote camera, once placed reactive to view the video feed. Left click while the camera is activated to fire a tracking dart.

Trapwire (C) – Place a tripwire between two walls, triggered enemies are restrained and revealed for a short time. If the trap hasn’t been destroyed, it activates to daze the trapped victim.

Neural Theft (X) – Once an enemy is killed, information can be extracted of the locations of their living allies.

Breach's kit is designed to inflict damage and crowd control through walls and terrain, taking people out of cover or aiding his team's peaking. Flashpoint is a fast-acting burst that blinds enemies, while Aftershock does damage while also dazing all players in the area of effect. If that's not enough, Breach's ultimate, Rolling Thunder, is an ability that passes through all terrain in a cone, knocking up and dazing players.

Good Breach players will find clever ways to ambush the enemies without even being seen. Teaming up with Sova to learn enemies' positioning is a deadly combination that can catch the enemy team completely off-guard.

Abilities

Fault Line (E) – Equip a seismic blast, hold fire to increase the distance, and release to set off a quake that dazes all players caught in it.

Aftershock (C) – Equip a Fusion Charge and fire it to send a slow-firing burst through a wall, which

He can deploy smokescreens that block vision or Orbital Strikes that deal damage-over-time anywhere on the map, while his direct-combat abilities can boost allies' rate of fire or create area-of-effect fire fields. The best Brimstone players will have great map awareness, so they can fight on one side of the map and hurt enemies on the other all at the same time.

Abilities

Sky Smoke (E) – Use your map to call in smokescreens that obscure vision, click to set the locations, and confirm to launch.

Stim Beacon (C) – Target a nearby location to call in the beacon, giving all players near the beacon rapid-fire.

Orbital Strike (X) – Target a nearby location, launch a devastating orbital strike that damages enemies for several seconds.

Valorant: Raze

Blast Pack and Paint Sheels are Raze's main abilities, with which she melts the opposing team. While Paint Sheels is a more direct damage grenade-throw, Blast Pack can stick to walls and be detonated on command, making it great for defending critical choke points or messing up spike plant sites. Raze's signature ability, Boom Bot, is an auto-lock Bot that chases enemies and explodes if it catches up to them, making it a great space-maker of a skill. And if someone lives after encountering Raze on the battlefield, the Showstopper ultimate does just that — it ends everyone's life.

Abilities

Paint Shells (E) – Cluster grenade that deals initial impact damage, followed by damage from the clusters.

Blast Pack (Q) – Like a C4 satchel. Throw it down and either detonate it when you want or let the timer run down. Deals AoE damage and displaces Agents.

Showstopper (X) – Pull out a rocket launcher and fire it down a lane. The explosion deals huge damage to anyone in its radius. We’ve seen aces with a single shot from this.
