So they found the key. But why does luffy have any interest in freeing loki? To help him find shanks? Or to destroy any pirate crew of luffys' choosing? I bet scopper gyaban knows where shanks is now so he could just ask him.
Or does luffy want a certain pirate crew off the face of the earth?
At the very least we can reasonably sure loki is no longer as big of a problem as they think he is. They get the key, and go find him bleeding but still kicking and he goes " oh straw hat, guess what?? The guy I insulted has an evil twin brother who wants to wreck this place!!"
Heck, I'll bet loki would just enjoy seeing luffy short circuit trying to work that out or insult shanks again without caring about another punch. He just got put through the wringer by shamrock so he is past caring.
