If gaban is aware of luffy defeating kaido, gaban should know that garp is currently captured. I’m betting gaban will reveal to luffy the news of garp at the end of the elbaph arc. Forcing luffy to either pursue laugh tale he’ll have all 4 poneglyphs or take a detour and head to black beard.
Loki will acknowledge luffy as nika by the end of the arc - which then loki will wish for luffy to become nika of destruction. He’ll encourage luffy to go after blackbeard. I think by the end of this arc we'll learn that the original nika was a destroyer, implying that joyboy was or attempted to be the peaceful nika. Luffy will likely be forced to manifest both at some point in the story to bring balance.
