Garp being captivated by blackbeard means blackbeard is going to learn
about true vision and death of his father.
Maybe he doesn't believe garp and holds a grudge against him and plans
to execute him for that.
But maybe he comes to an arrangement with him. Garp stays "Prisoner" so
garp doesn't have to follow world government anymore and at the right
moment he can make a move.
I've been saying this ever since garp was captured, dragon needs to save
him! I think sword going in and getting him back would be boring.
Its going to be luffy freeing a bunch of his friends and loved ones from
blackbeard. Next person blackbeard will target will be shirohoshi and
some of his friends from wano trying to collect ancient weapons. Add in
when law inevitable appears and tells luffy blackbeard took down his
crew and likely took them too and he finds out about garp and sanji
finds out about pudding, it will get all kinds of crazy.
We are reaching a point where groups are converging and their sides are
being drawn to who stands where. At the end of this we will have four
factions all duking it out for the future. Luffy's, blackbeard's, imu's,
and funny enough buggy's with each one having the other factions
falling into one of these groups.
