It wouldn't be a shock as it would be a huge
middle finger to their dynamic. Especially with what we know of shanks
now, it would just be in poor taste.
There's really not any instance of shanks showing a sign of something
sinister ever so its hard to make any sense of a twist like that
especially when you are doing such great story telling overall in one
piece. Shanks was literally raised by the roger pirates and by proxy the
queens of amazon lily. He simply wasnt raised to betray people. Oda
would have to alot of explaining to make that character turn make sense.
I'm guessing gaban and rayleigh arrived just when they were about to
kill rocks. Rocks probably held off garling while gaban and rayleigh
took care of the two, damaged them and saw they were regenerating. Then
rocks shouted at them to take roger and garp, and leave while they can. I
don't wanna be that guy. But we get no *real* impact panel, and no
rocks panel after that... Plus, we basically have never seen the satchel
maffey in the present.. We know she failed garling by returning only
one of his sons - and since shamrock is not with them here, garling
probaly already knows.
So what I am saying is... There is a 0.00001% chance that garling killed
her here, and that there are still some (frozen) remains of xebec
somewhere that garling intended to use for different days.
