How many thousands of young kids joined the ranks inspired by 'garp the
hero" only to commit genocide immediately? Well dragon was also
imprisoned for insubordination, plus he knows what happened in god
valley, there was a good chance he probably would’ve been executed. I
think garp knows he won't be able to change it directly, but he can
foster the next generation to be the change. It would be epic if dragon
returned the favor and freed garp from hachinosu prison. Wonder when was
the last time the two spoke. I'm curious if dragon still feels the same
way he did about garp now. I wouldn’t be surprised if the last time
they spoke was when dragon left luffy with garp. Dragon had already
formed the revolutionary army with kuma and ivankov at that point, so I
doubt he would have meaningful reason to see his father after leaving
his son in his care.
