I also wonder if brook has some sort of vengeful satisfaction when he watches luffy fuck the world government's shit up from the front row. So is domi revesi just going be the secret reason for every betrayal going forward? I know it helps emphasize how evil the world government is, but it removes the nuance from character conflicts. Why did shuri kill her dad? Not for some interesting personal reason, she was domi reversi why did loki kill harald? Not because they fundamentally disagreed about the future of elbaph, it was because harald was domi reversi'd and had to be killed why did garp and roger, 2 legendary rivals, set aside their differences to fight rocks? Because he was domi reversi'd, so they had to stop him
It's just makes these legendary conflicts less interesting when it's revealed that the only reason they happened was because one of the parties was mind controlled. The death of candelle aligns with the death of queen estrid in elbaf. If imu forms the pact with shuri immediately after this and she becomes gunko, her age is stuck at 15 years in present time.
It's now 6 years time until rocks enters the flower room with gunko present.
There are also now 10 years to go until brook and yorki arrive with laboon to the twin capes as the rumbar pirates, interesting that we haven't yet seen anything of yorki (unless he's been in the background of some panels or something)
I'm assuming the government sent the mist somehow, i wonder if that's tied into the permanent mist that surrounds thriller bark somehow. Would make it extra cruel that brook was stuck there in the mist that destroyed his kingdom on a boat full of his dead friends.

She is a blade.. If Imu gets out of Elbaf BEFORE taking her out, he WONT be able to do anything to her since the distance will be to great (Like Shanks said - and that wiuld explain - by plot holes - WHY maybe the strongest between they are still a Blade and not a full Holy Knight - (for me Gunko is way stronger than they, it looks like !)
ReplyDeleteBc with this plot armour Oda can safely make Gunko still alive WHILE far away from Mary Geoise, and probably even being out of signsl from the direction connection with Imu - but i think it will be super fast to - post elbaf arc w will have massic plot revelations - in my opinion- She will be the one that teach the S.H about Imu=King of the World- and that he wants Nefertari Vivi !
So now the question is why Imu has an interest in Shuri's eyes. Is it because it reminds him of someone from his past? Or do they perhaps have some special trait like the eyes of the 3 eyed tribe?
ReplyDeleteI am curious if brook's frost of the underworld can do anything against loki's ice since both abilities are supernatural but it's extremely unlikely this can work IMO. Add to that, brook doesn't know it but the most likely scenario is that shuri's current frozen state is the safest for her as she seems to be out of reach to imu for now as even he can't break the ice. It also seems likely that retrieving shuri is the primary reason imu decided to leave mary geoise. Even above defeating elbaf...
To me it still sounds like the best way to deal with imu is most likely to destroy the magic circle at the castle. No abyss and force everyone back to mary geoise. Though if that happens it'd be pretty bad for shuri as she would be forced to return.
And... if brook asks luffy for his strength to save shuri... We could see Yonko luffy finally set his forces on the warpath with the world government.
The man's had it rough, he just realized that the traumatic past he'd seen as a huge betrayal and what should be the tragedy of a lifetime was actually not a betrayal and Shuri had been alive and being controlled this whole time.
ReplyDeleteLike, Laboon waiting for him for 50 years is a huge deal to him as it's his promise to go back he has to fulfill, but Shuri is someone he knew from her birth until she was 15, and he just learned she was innocent this whole time and is actually alive having suffered these 60+ years, and he has the chance to help her after having felt for years that he couldn't do anything to save Leuven.
