Good point lowkey, i feel like anything not directly tied to the one piece itself would be insignificant info to luffy. But what about robin? She is willing to find our on their own what D. Means and she told rayleigh nvm in pre-timeskip sabaody. She'd probably tell ragnir to stop talking. Robin's an academic, her whole thing is coallating information from primary sources. Ragnir is a great primary source who she'd probably be interested in interviewing!
She didn't terribly mind not getting the info from rayleigh because his info is from roger's ability to get vibes from objects, rather than from sources who understood the reality behind those vibes. So rayleigh's info would have been approximate truth rather than the historical record.
Bro we're about to get a ragnir focused flashback and nobody is going to understand it besides chopper. The flashback is gonna end with the entire crew going "huh? Why's he been squeaking like that?" and before chopper gets a chance to explain, a big interruption will happen and they'll forget about it.
