I'm assuming shuri/gunko becomes the link that actually gets the straw hats to go against the world government/mu. Right now the only reason they have to fight is to help elbaph, they'd never normally chase after mu/gks after they inevitably withdraw. That's really important to me as a reader because as I've said many times, there's no real reason for this fight to be going on and I need more than "Helping save my friend's island" as the reason for a final confrontation.

Next chapter seems like a fighty one (ya no breaks!) which aren't my favorite but I see the necessity. Imu is kept busy by luffy/loki while brook and co. Break the ice and advance the plot. Still need to see what's going on with robin/saul as well, I hope it's not a sudden lore-drop from the owl that tells them exactly where to go and what to do regarding the next steps for finding poneglyph stuff. I like how we didn't learn everything about shuri's true identity yet, and how we only saw what happened through brook's eyes. I was expecting an explanation of who groh was, why Mars was there, but the way it was presented feels more accurate to a traumatic memory. It happened too fast to process, and brook couldn't explain any of what he had seen, so he decided he must have misremembered it.
