One Piece 1187 Manga Page 9

As satisfying as luffy hitting imu is, we all know that it won't have lasting effects. I have a gut feeling imu is going to let loose and I don't think luffy and loki in their current state will be enough but I could be wrong. If imu and the god knights fail in elbaph, it will indicate that blackbeard and his crew will be the final enemies at the end of the series. It's brook holding reuven, whose face is covered by the big bro! On the right. The bottom right corner of that panel is reuven's hair, and above the speech bubble is the white collar thing of reuven's robe. I love the cover page depicting how much love ida and loki held for each other, even if he outwardly claimed to dislike her. It's so sweet and really emphasizes oda's appreciation for found family over genetic relations. Catch the latest one piece manga 1187, check this blog regularly for the updates of one piece - chapter 1187: in Full Color & Ch 1187 100 out of 100 based on 5 ratings.

And then the heartbreaking tragedy of shuri being controlled and manipulated into killing the two men who raised her and that she loved most. So the seems to confirm that, despite that 'rivalry' between the last niddhog and him, the giants were on joyboy’s side during the last war or at least stayed out of it until imu forced their hand and apparently betrayed him for the sake of their children. Maybe that's why they’re ambivalent about nika now - some call him god of destruction because he had to fight them eventually.  The parallels between brook and jarul are so interesting. Both the leading warriors of their kingdom. Both forced to watch imu’s corruption force a child kill a parent and destroy their homes. Both stabbed through the head as a direct result. Both simply holding on to that information, until the right moment comes along and someone can really help do something about it the straw hats.

So much of what brook went through, jarul went through. Oda has done such a good job of illustrating that this is how imu does things without literally spelling it out. How many more kingdoms throughout history have suffered from what brook and jarul have seen?
