The internal dynamics of the rocks pirates were hilarious. Shiki and
kyou have little to no bearing on the manga outside strong world, but
oda has given them so much personality it's crazy. I definitely want to
see a rocks spinoff one day.
Also, harald's attacks on the marines being misconstrued as attacks on
innocents once more reflects the way history and the news cycle are
twisted to serve the interests of the powerful.
Not to mention harald is basically saying to himself every argument we
hear in favor of the marines and the such.
Like the normal marines helping people but the top being completely
corrupt.
And trying to balance it out because joining the world goverment is
worth it compared to not having any rights like we have seen several
times.
Its a perspective we havent been shown so far. We have always seen the
wg fuck ups in afiliated countries. But even those fuck ups pale in
comparison of not being affiliated at all like we saw this chapter.
