Now it makes sense that some folks had cajoles to bully big mom's kids in the past. Folks on hachinosu are all hardened criminals, so of course they wouldn't be as afraid as most regular people would be. The rocks pirate are such a dysfunctional group. Garp probably just wants giants to join so he can have a giant sparring partner. It’s funny how rocks and whitebeard just fall for shakky, didn’t expect that. I doubt harald will try to kill rocks since that would only proof giants are nothing but brutes.
One thing I'm wondering is if rocks is actually evil. He's clearly no angel, but his targets seem to be mostly world government affiliated. His main goal is to topple them and I don't think any of us would argue they don't deserve it. I thought their raid at the beginning of the chapter would show that rocks is a bad guy, but they seemed to be right claiming the money wasn't actually for charitable causes. While rocks doesn't seem to have been a kind soul, it's entirely possible his evil reputation was exaggerated by the world government.
