So gloriosa didn't join rocks crew in a davy back fight, she's not there for whitebeard or we'd see her fight with stussy for her comment about whitbeard loving her, she's not there for shaky because she came to hachinosu after gloriosa joined rocks, she's not there for roger because that wouldn't make sense so why did she join? Big mom literally said that gloriosa left the kuja to chase after a man, and as far as we know, that man is roger. So I personally think that joining the rocks and hoping to meet roger in battle is the best way she could think of to approach him. I like the friendship between harald and rocks. 

 

Harald knows rocks is a scumbag, but he still lets him come back to elbaf to chill. Rocks has his own agenda, but does genuinely like harald and doesn't want to cause harm. We know harald either refused to or failed to kill rocks due to elbaf's status in the current story. A glorious golden age of flashback chapters, it ain't letting me down yet! So finally a normal cover page. So I guess we're assuming it's ushimaru; right? His body wasn't found, so maybe the whole ancient giant numbers theory isn't dead yet... Nice opening scene with the rocks pirates robbing a island who's whole personality is being good, so of course they're frauds. We get some decent little hints at their personalities with shiki and kyo's rivalry and gloriosa and stussy's lovesickness. I didn't notice little katakuri and oven there, nice touch. Harald enters his hardass dad phase. Every little scene with ida is a gem as she schools xebec on his toxic friendship. Then of course there's the mother of all twists that shakky being a beloved waifu to all the idiots on pirate island and the roger pirate's is what causes a legendary "Serious" incident that's been covered up by the wg. Bless this series.
