I wonder if the kuja pirates will come and try to rescue shakky, it
would be the perfect way for dragon to meet tritoma, if she really is
luffy's mother. We see in the kuma flash back that gloriosa is on the
ship with rocks. So it means between this chapter and the start of the
god valley incident. The kuja pirates meet up with rocks. Maybe to
confront him for losing shakky. So, what are the chances that shanks
and shamrock's mother was a member of the davy clan? Not zero.
And, as usual, hell, garling is so evil. Just a heartless monster. I
cannot wait for him to get his comeuppance in the present day.
The entire reason everyone converged on god valley was because of
garling's intention to marry shakky. Poetic in a way. I'm really glad
rocks' reason for going to god valley is far more personal, because it
all being about shakky would have been super trite.
But knowing it was
about blackbeard and his mother, and about the davy clan, makes it so
much more!
So. God valley is the home of the davy clan, descended from the
legendary pirate davy d. Jones (david jones). Now what are the chances
that this legendary pirate was the first pirate in history? That is to
say...Joyboy. Blackbeard would be a direct descendant of joyboy, which
seems somehow thematically appropriate.
As usual, once again, we see that the marines are fundamentally
