He killed a crew mate and likely made a ton of money by kidnapping shakky. On top of that I'd guess he stayed behind on beehive while everyone else went to god valley. And as luck would have it rocks crew falls apart letting him keep the island. Bb killing him in the future is basically everything coming full circle. Now we also have caribou who may be ochoku's kid coming under bb. Is he really a fan or there for revenge? If bb thinks caribou is related to ochoku would he kill him? Lots of interesting dynamics to explore. I still think tritoma is luffy mom and I think we'll see her as the current empress and kuja pirates pull up to god valley to save shakky soon thou of course rayleigh saved her. Tritoma meeting dragon and probably help the soon to be freedom fighters/revolutionary army in the future: kuma, ginny, iva, and alot of slaves off of god valley and back to amazon lily. That would solve how kuma visited amazon lily and send luffy there. Dragon's probably still in for massive suffering here. Shanks needs to end up in the treasure chest that roger and company manage to steal and get surprised by. Also, they somehow need to be able to learn about the "Child of prophecy" thing, unless it's connected to the joy boy portion of the story. Then, shamrock still needs to be claimed back by garling.
What route takes dragon from here to having to hide the kids and risking the celestial dragons getting them back? There must have been a lot of interruptions and sudden arrivals. Regarding blackbeard and using his past to justify the viciousness of the future; I don't think he's any less of a villain. I think it's cool that we have a causal chain of events. But ultimately, what makes someone a greater hero, is when they choose to stay on the goodish side despite how badly the world treated them. Robin could have been far gone by the time luffy meets her, but she held onto enough of herself and was ultimately a good person.
So, with the villains, I think it's cool to have their chain of events. I expected blackbeard to have a miserable life since we saw his sbs childhood. This has changed nothing except further cement his villiany. Luffy isn't going to care about why blackbeard is the way he is when he beats him down. He's going to do it because blackbeard is the bad guy in his way.
