It’s the kind of chapter that makes you scream “LET’S GOOO!!” but also leaves you wishing Oda had slowed down to give certain moments (like Kid Teach’s trauma or the Knights of God reveal) more depth.
The Knights of God reveal was hype too—giant yeti creature + a badass horned woman with cigars and sunglasses?? They look sick, even though we don’t know much yet. Oda’s clearly building them up for a big payoff.
And to cap it all off… GARP’S FLEET rolls in with ANOTHER double spread!! The “Meteor Fist” panel is gonna break the internet. Marines crying tears of joy, Garp standing tall—absolute chills.
This chapter is PACKED. Like, almost too much happening at once, but man the hype levels are off the charts. Between the heartbreak of Kid Teach, the comedy of Rocks/Roger crews, and the epic entrances of literal legends, this is one of those chapters you just wanna reread 5 times.
