I got sad when ginny appeared in this chapter. It was because of her
that shakky and shanks are still alive today if you think about it. It
can easily be argued that ginny making that call is the single most
pivotal point in the entire op story history. There's probably almost
nothing in modern day that would be the same if not for that tiny
bravery.
I wouldn’t even say that could be argued. It’s with ginny making that
call that ultimately caused:
Garp to arrive on god valley, causing an asinine cascading effect
relating to garp now being the “hero of the marines”.
It’s likely one of the main reasons that blackbeard got off the
island.
It helped get ivankov off the island, influencing the overall events
of marine ford.
It helped get kuma off the island. This alone caused a metric fuck
ton of stuff to happen. It’s literally the reason luffy and co. Didn’t
die on sabaody, causing none of the events of the new world to happen.
Which means fishman island falls, the citizens of dressrosa stay the way
they are, people of zou likely end up dying, and the people of wano
ultimately stay enslaved/die. Not to mention literally everything else
in the world that’s going to happen from this point on.
It’s the reason shanks ended up with roger.
Rayleigh found shakky.
Kaido got his fruit.
And who knows what else ends up happening on the island we don’t know
about yet, or that I can’t immediately remember.
