The first thing that went through my head when I read about the davy
clan was I questioned if foxy was apart of it or knew someone in the
clan as he was the first and only person in the series to mention davy
jones. He didn’t use davy d jones, but maybe kept it a secret?
More and more, xebec is turning more and more into the good guy. He
didn’t charge to god valley to steal devil fruits, kill celestial
dragons or other heinous things. He just wanted to save one of their own
and protect his wife and child. What is more honorable than that?
But more to the point, this gives us an insight into blackbeard’s past.
It may be the reason why he can use more than one devil fruit. The davy
clan may have special properties that allow them to do it.
Is this flashback even better than the oden flashback in wano? Maybe.
It's so nice to see all the pieces come together, and I love how human
everyone feels. Then there's garling, who stands out even more by
comparison.
Now I'm thinking back to when we first met shakky and... Damn. We really
had no clue.
Rocks is climbing the ranks of my favorite characters fast. Hot,
chaotic, fantastic design and a guy who loves his family... Are we 100%
sure he's dead?
