Pretty interesting that dragon sees garp here and still decides to try get off the island by himself instead of asking him for help. He definitely just doesn’t want to get garp involved but it speaks to the strength of his character rocks only has his wife and child on his mind and garp, my favorite character, aside from blackbeard, is being a complete badass. Wholesome moment between shakky and rayleigh, dragon being a good man and more hatred for the celestial dragons building up.
What more do you want? Peak! Dragon is probably the morally best character in op. Him saying he got what he deserved when he was about to die for setting the game up- which he did not know what it was for really shows that. Dragon is the real protagonist of one piece because of his active fight against the wg, unlike other characters who know that this evil exists, and do nothing. Loved linlin in this chapter. Her interactions with whitebeard and garp were gold. Truly the best emperor.
I also liked sommers and shakky roles.
And it is pretty interesting as garling seems the only celestial dragon the other celestial dragons fear. I wonder if they have their own hierarchy and/or if garling is just this murderous.
Hopefully next chapter we get to focus on rocks again.
