It’s likely rocks go bersker or loses his mind and he finds rayleigh who would either be one-shotted or sort of sucker-punch attack from rocks, where rocks ended up hostaging shakky, why? Because thats the only way he knows his own crew who are possibly as strong as he is wont attack him? Thus, making all his crew turn against him (this is the start of the end) but they cant do anything because shakky would die or is in danger but this is sort of the moment the rocks crew realised the crew is over.
Rocks continues on to attack celestial dragon while somehow still keeping shakky as hostage, and its getting out of control that garp has to find a way to stop him because well its his job orrr most likely because his crew is rocks’s next target, also possibly including dragons life being in danger and thefore garp has no choice but to find help, roger is so mad he need to avenge rayleigh who maybe is unconscious and roger also has to save shakky. So garp had no choice to end up teaming with roger who has to stop rocks going wild or possibly threat of killing both shakky and dragon.
