I get that there are a lot of shiny things in this chapter, but I feel like people are really sleeping on all the celestial dragons lore! It's been hinted at for a while, but there are clearly a ton of internal politics! Who is she even getting this baby for and why? And how does this person know garling has a kid but not two? And why is sommers so quick to defy garling and try to kill shakky? Does everyone hate garling, because maffey also calls him a prick?
We know the four elders were not thrilled with his promotion. Is part of the reason the world government can't get it together because or internal feuding beyond what we've seen before? I feel like all the gods knight are just so cavalier they hate each other. And garling likely getting more attention for being the strongest gods knight probably creates some jealousy and envy. I bet the elders don't like garling because they haven't been shown be directly confrontational, until egghead. It seems like garling prefers to be directly confrontational, which would just conflict with how they like to operate.
