I don't really understand the whole exchange between xebec and his wife.
Rather than run away together with xebec she wanted him to stay behind
and fight the immortal god's knights so that she could escape with
blackbeard? Was her logic that xebec would be able to fight more easily
if he didn't have to worry about protecting her and that she'd be fine
escaping on her own?
Xebec is the goat though wow. He beat garling and at least one other
god's knight and seems completely fine. Dunno if that means that the
god's knights are way below admirals or xebec is just that powerful.
The
ending is amazing too. I think there is a genuine bond between
whitebeard and xebec and I'm surprised whitebeard never really mentioned
xebec before. I'm kind of sad that (I assume) xebec is going to get
domi reversi from imu next because he definitely doesn't deserve that.
So many things happening in this but this chapter finally answers the
big question gripping everyones mind which was if ganzui's lower body
was an elephants torso like his zombie, or if he had normal legs. Every
depiction of ganzui up till now showed him from torso up.
This chapter not only confirms ganzui had normal legs, but also has some
kind of arm cannon blasters or ability to fire projectile explosions.
