I can't believe how much I've grown fond of rocks in such a short time. I expected a devious and cruel man from the fact that he was initially presented as a monster, which is probably true up to a point; he is a pirate after all. But from the flashback, we don't see all that evil. On the contrary, we see the positive sides of this supposed monster, a genuine friendship with harald, a good father and husband. I will honestly miss him. If this is truly the end of the yamato cover story, it might be one of the worst ones oda's has written, complete nothing burger outside of the random moria reveal. Excellent chapter otherwise though, glad to see more of this conflict in depth. Expecting to see the rocks pirates who turn into zombie generals die next chapter. I was smiling from ear to ear reading this chapter. Roger, rocks, whitebeard, big mom, kaido, shanks, blackbeard, dragon, garp, imu, saturn, garling, kuma; all these big names in one single chapter. This is too much for me to handle right now.
