It's pretty special getting to see these fan fav characters back in
their prime. Nice to see kaido not as an alcoholic, whitebeard smiling,
and big mom not being a sluggish pig.
I'm a big fan of the theory that oda draws characters ugly if they don't
achieve their dreams. Big mom might be the best example of that, but 85
kids probably has a role to play in that too lol. Oda's character
design strategy is fantastic in that sense; it's a great lesson to
learn. Live your life chasing your dreams, retain your youth! Don't be
ugly and boring. Did really nobody get why rocks calls I'm the world?
It's cuz it's his dream "The world" to be the king of the world. The
position that imu currently occupies. So he basically was saying that's
his dream to bring that guy down and take his place. Only I guess rocks
would be a much better king then this devil.
I swear the people who think garp is irredeemable or he doesn't have a
good reason for why he's still in the navy do not understand how oda's
writing works.
Literally the same type of people who would think king riku actually
committed all those supposed people he was framed for.
