I feel roger, rocks, and garp take on imu. Rocks is sacrificed and used as a cover for imu's appearance. Garp reluctantly takes the hero title to protect people, somehow. Roger is inspired to take responsibility to learn about to the world. I’m starting to think that sengoku was lying when he was giving us a history lesson of god valley, I don’t think rocks fought roger and garp. I think everyone teamed up to fight imu. That would make much more sense than roger fighting to protect the celestial dragons. Two days late to the comment party, big l.

 

Anyways, I was thinking about all of the people kuma sent away from god valley. I wonder how many people went off about what they saw, what they endured, all of the calamity. I guess kuma sent them off before the real shitshow pops off with imu, but still. You'd think the wg would be a bit more concerned with the optics of a bunch of escaped, hunted slaves. This is how I imagine one piece endgame will be. Rocks, whitebeard, big mom, kaido, shiki, roger, rayleigh, gaban, garling and probably a bunch of end game god's knights future bosses, saturn, imu, kuma, dragon, ivankoff, teach, shanks-shamrock, garp, sengoku, shakky. What a shitstorm, it feels like marineford! The official story was roger and garp defeated rocks together. But I'm not buying this. No way roger and garp is gonna gang up on rocks after they've seen what celestial dragons were up to on the island, the manhunt. And damn, if even rocks have no idea how to kill these mofos like garling, then we're in trouble. Hopefully oda won't pull some nonsense like they can only be harmed with power of nika or that new haki we never heard of before that we conveniently unlock, that would be anticlimactic.
